This somewhat older hotel was impeccably clean and extremely well maintained making it easily as nice as newer hotels. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very friendly, Sunny’s Bistro attached to the hotel has great food and the complementary breakfast is better than most such offerings. I noticed a bunch of flight attendants staying here. This seems to be a great choice especially if you are renting a car with Advantage which is just around the corner. The only downside was the WiFi was slow and unreliable.
I usually don't bother writing reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised by this place I felt I had to. I was exhausted and frustrated from travel, and everyone was kind, helpful, and accommodating. The airport shuttle, the front desk, and the diner were all staffed by sweet girls who seemed like they genuinely wanted to help me get my situation sorted out. They offered the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had, and the room was clean and the bed comfortable. I expected less amenities in a place with this price range, but they offered all I needed and more. I would absolutely recommend.
The location is nice, off the main roads so it is quiet, but within a very short distance of everything. Rooms are clean, decently furnished, and reasonably priced. Breakfast vouchers being included was a nice addition to the stay, since they were for the actual attached restaurant and not just continental. Small pool and hot tub, and they are oddly placed basically in the lobby, but still better than none at all. All in all, a very worthwhile three night stay.
The room was average but very clean and had basic amenities. The breakfast was spectacular, and our waitress was wonderful. Best home style country breakfast potatoes. The hotel front desk was not very friendly at all... They were quick but dismissive, no smiles or helpful hints. Encountered two different desk attendants evening and morning but both behaved in the same lackluster way. Everything else was great though.
We encountered a horrible experience. They allowed the room above us to continually beat on the floors, walls. It shook the lights. We ask for help. The night clerk sneered saying there is nothing she can do. Asked for the managers name she didn't know it. Seriously tried to get them to move us or them. Close to midnight with my elderly mother. Truly could of cared less. Night clerk needs customer service training. Now ,on a good note friendly welcoming upon arrival. Clean rooms. The bistro is fantastic!! The service was incredible!!!
There is no way this hotel is above a 1.5 star rating! The pool is green & in the middle of the public seating in the hotel. Awkward! There are no towels at the pool and since there were only 2 bath towels, you don't want to use them. The room was sub-par with terrible, old decor and small. It says free breakfast, but they only give you two breakfast passes to their restaurant even though your reservation includes kids. The staff at check in was not very friendly or accomodating. I wanted to pay for the 2 kids breakfast but no, that's not possible either. Both rooms had a nasty, musty odor. Possibly urine.
One star is being generous...I look at the photo's and read the description of the accommodations offered and can't believe it's the same place. Free breakfast made to order Not On Your Life .... you have 2 options... Only 2... if you don't like those 2 you're out of luck. The Plain yogurt and 3 slices of orange.... vs eggs sausage and toast... ... neither of which I could eat. Disappointed. The absolutely unbelievable RUDE and Caustic attitude of the front desk individual that greeted me should have been the tip off that there were some serious problems. A total refusal to even TRY to have a conversation about Anything and her total childish lack of professionalism was shocking!... entryway is full of dead and dieing plants... pool that is shown in photos as pristine and clear... in reality looks like it hasn't been plastered since the hotel was built... from TV reception that cut in and out and went black every 4 minutes causing the need to reset the channel every time... to box spring that was torn and exposed stuffing coming out.... made for an extremely uncomfortable night and cancellation of the rest of my reservation of which I still have to battle over the refund due to miss nastypants and her unbelievably extreme behavior. I have put up with a lot in my travels... room problems... maintenance issues... etc.... but when customer service is so atrocious... so completely lacking... I will walk... EVERY TIME!
I was very disappointed in this hotel, particularly considering the price they charged. The sheets were clean, which is a minimum expectation. The decor was probably nice in the 70's and they apparently haven't updated since. That alone wouldn't be a problem. After that, downhill. The bugs in the room were dead when I saw them. So a little cleanup was in order. Turning on the vent fan in the bathroom produced horrible noises before the fan simply died. The water temperature in the shower was extremely touchy. A very tiny adjustment changed the temperature from cold to scalding. It was hot enough to cause severe burns, fortunately I tested it before diving in and avoided injury. Don't try that with little kids. The keycards for the rooms stopped working once or twice each day. It affected all the guests I talked to, but the desk clerks suggested our cell phones probably erased the cards. Pathetic. Some of my travel companions had items stolen out of their rooms while we attended a training class during the day. On top of all that, our class ended earlier than expected so we were able to travel home earlier. The hotel refused to consider refunding the cost of the night even though they had notice as of 6:00 am. The chances are good they filled the room and got some extra money. Granted, I reserved the room so I am on the hook to pay for all of it, but their customer service was lacking on that count. They only bright spot was the restaurant in the building. Good food that was inexpensive and big portion sizes. The waitress was outstanding. In spite of the restaurant, I recommend avoiding this hotel. I'll never stay there again.
The free breakfast is a lie if you have more than two people. It's limited to only two people per room, so families beware. Swimming pool is awkward and uncomfortable to use since it's right in the lobby. Staff was okay but didn't really seem engaged. Hot water was literally scalding, my kids almost burned themselves. Rooms are relatively clean but dated and painted the cheapest whitest of whites, to the point they hurt your eyes. Four bath towels but only one hand towel provided. Time and time again, it just felt like they tried to find lots of little ways to skimp on service. For the price and a supposed three-star rating, I expected more. Definitely won't be staying here again.
Easy to find and close to the airport. The indoor pool was a nice touch even if it's kind of small and dated. The rooms were quite nice, clean and comfortable. Overall the decor is dated but certainly not run down. The on-site restaurant was nice and very accommodating. I certainly recommend staying here.
