It was my first time visiting AJ's. I was in the area and Googled breakfast near me. It was fantastic!! The staff was friendly, food came out hot, fresh and delicious. Thanks for a great first experience!!

Y'all!! This place is a true hidden gem! The food was AMAZING! Great atmosphere in this cute Lil diner! Service was on point! Tina our waitress was so nice! I had the Swiss Mushroom Burger... Better than Runza's!!! Not even joking! And look at the custom hot iron brand on the bun?!? Talk about attention to detail!! That is so cool!! My mom had the Chicken Fried Steak casserole. She couldn't even finish it! And look at my picture!!! You see the size of that pancake?!?! I had to try it... Yummy!! Delicious, Crispy edges and cooked perfectly. Grandma loved the chili before her meal. And look at that tenderloin! Holy taledo! We needed to-go boxes for sure. Simply one of the best places in Omaha to eat! Absolutey Wonderful staff and awesome food! Support small businesses!!

This is quite definitely one of the best breakfast restaurants I’ve ever been to! The employees are friendly and helpful, they don’t make you feel rushed in the slightest, and the food is absolutely delicious! They deserve a five-star rating on their pancakes alone! I had the country fried chicken omelette, and it was perfect. Everyone was very happy with their meals, and again — the pancakes are huge and taste unbelievable! This is definitely on my list of places to go for breakfast in Omaha!

Great food and service, all at great prices. This place almost feels like you travel back in time to when things were simpler. Food was very good, service was quick. Only complaint would be they are cash only, but I guess that only adds to the ambiance!Food: 5/5

We just found a new favorite breakfast place! Staff is friendly and fast on their feet. Personal attention. We had the menu in moments, one also posted next to our table and the specials explained without asking. Comfy and clean. Bonus for my crunchy friends: they clean tables with Thieves so no wafting of Clorox. Amazing smells and the food was plentiful! The prices were great-comparable to other cafes and more reasonable than the chain breakfast places in town.

Food was good. There seemed to be lots of staff but maybe bc they were busy, the atmosphere and attitude was pretty much eat and GET OUT. Coffee was served quickly but getting a second cup with your meal... hard to get. We felt rushed to pay and leave even though it took awhile for our food to come out. Squat and gobble! QUICKLY. Breakfast is the only option on the weekends. If you don't mind waiting to be seated, the food is good, not extraordinary. But for the better experience, come on a weekday. Also either bring your checkbook or cash. They dont take credit cards although there is an ATM inside. We probably won't go again on Saturday or Sunday. Maybe not even a weekday since they close at 2 so it will be some time before we go again. Parking: Tough tight parking lot.

We got in here around 8ish and the place was crowded per usual for early bird specials. Got sat down pretty quickly to a booth but then the waitress was seating and taking orders for people that came in after us. Had to call her over to get her attention, kept looking right over us.. Easily could've stopped trying to seat people with no tables open, and take orders. Food took about 20-25 minutes. Eggs were watery and the toast was cold. Could've been better, if the store was bigger and more staffed.

It was my first time. I sat at the bar. Cinnamon roll, chicken fried steak w/gravy, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and a side of 4 strips of bacon cooked to perfection were all DELICIOUS. Especially the cinnamon roll, chicken fried steak w/gravy and 4 slices of bacon. YUM. Waitresses were sweet. I'll be back. Also it's cash only w/ATM located inside, $2.49 fee.
