I came here 5 years ago and loved it. I came back to Oahu and hoped it was still here and was so happy!! It’s so delicious. Everything you get here tastes amazing. We ordered the Thai Poke, the sesame salad and the surf turf. All delicious. We came back twice.
Love this gem of a find, went here twice! The Peruvian Surf and Turf was amazing! Perfect blend of flavors! Foodie satisfied!! Hubby had the Hawaiian poke bowl which was also really good!! The 2nd time we came we had the Mexican Poke bowl which was good, and the Thai Poke- this one was too sweet for me, needed something exciting to balance out the sweetness :/
Delicious food, awesome atmosphere, lots of seating with plenty of shade, efficient service and lots of other food trucks in the same spot so you can get dessert etc as well! A must stop if you're ever asking this route! We had the marlin tacos which was new for us and they were so good!!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Found it as we weren't crushing for food around the beach area after a stopover at Waimea Falls. What a lovely space. There a few good trucks around in the same parcel but each truck has created their own space and vibe. All of which was great and we loved the food and how it was prepared. The seared ahi and marlin we're fantastic and well spiced though a bit salty. But beyond that just being in front of the water and hanging out with good food and walking around the lot to the other food trucks for dessert was an excellent time waiting to be had by everyone.
Good but not great. Too salty. Too much sauce. Too little vegetables. A lot of rice. The rice on the shrimp plate was too dry - not soft. For such high priced dishes, it’s fair to expect a little more. I wonder why food truck dishes have to be so expensive .. and no satisfaction after eating.
After we hiked to the Waimea Falls and the Botanical Gardens, it was time to find some food. There are several food trucks in this area, but Aji Limo looked to be real, authentic Hawaiian food. I had the House Bowl with seared marlin, tomato, onion, corn, sushi rice and some salad greens with their house dressing on top. My wife had the Banzai shrimp tacos with cabbage, carrots, red bell pepper. Kids split the “fish and chips” with marlin and rice. My in-laws also ordered here and had the Yasaitame, like a chicken fried rice dish. We found a picnic table, had a seat, and waited for our food to be prepared. We were there in mid-November, so it was fairly mild but warm so we enjoyed the outdoor dining. I can see this place being busy in the height of tourist season, though, so wait times could vary. Overall, this was one of my favorite meals on the island of Oahu.
Great food, everything was delicious the place is nice and quite I enjoyed a lot coming here for dinner sit down and relax by the beach. They have chicken everywhere I loved that but if you don’t like animals by your food or trying to steal your food order to go . It was great for me to share my food with the chickens . Definitely will come back
Love the relaxed outdoor atmosphere here. They had a ton of food choices and enjoyed just sitting and eating with my family. My 2-year-old son was able to explore around a little bit so I would call this place child-friendly too.
We got lunch here on our snorkeling adventure at Shark’s cove... conveniently located across the street. Both our salmon and shrimp dishes were delicious - the dressings are full of flavour ! The seating area is cute with flowers, plants and sun or shade under the trees. This food truck is a bit hidden towards the back of the busy ‘market’ area.
Excellent little place. You have to go towards the back left of the parking lot to find them. We had the Peruvian Surf and the Peruvian Ceviche, absolutely delicious and fresh. The set up is really beautiful with lots of shade, cute little chicks, and a view of the ocean. Great customer service too.
