Ajora Falls Ethiopian Restaurant

Why would anyone go to stupid chain restaurants with places like this in town? ordered the beef tips for carryout and am very pleased with the quality of the food. The beef was bursting with flavor, the side dishes were hearty and delicious, and the bread is the perfect compliment/utensil for the meal. I'll have to dine in next time so I can try the tea, which I heard is to die for.

Best tea I have ever had in my life. The food is delicious and filling. We ordered a messob plate for two, and we got enough for 5 meals between us. I will definitely be going back.

This place looks like it may be closed, but it's not. Don't let the appearance scare you away, the food is great. I'm not a "foodie" with a ridiculously over-hyped review, I am a person that likes good food, that all. I've eaten all over this country and know good food from bad, and this food here is both good tasting and unique. The atmosphere is terrible, but oh well, the food made up for the atmosphere. They don't have a lot of options, pretty limited, but the options taste good so who cares. If you are the only ones there when you walk in, stay, eat, it will taste awesome. If its your first time, order the sampler platter that has one of each thing. It costs the same as everything else except you get a small amount of everything. When I say a small amount, it was 2x the amount of food I could eat. I was with 2 others and we order 3 samplers that all came together on one tray, this was enough for 5-6 people, not 3. Order accordingly. Prices are very reasonable. The music is great if you like to listed to Ethiopian music and watch Ethiopian music videos. I don't particularly care for it, so it wasn't fantastic for me, but others might like this.

Such delicious food at a locally-owned Ethiopian restaurant. The vegetarian platter and his famous tea are the best. Worth a visit (and another, and another, and another).
