The repairman was supposed to diagnose an issue with my refrigerator, and not only did he not examine it beyond popping the door open, he told me it was a part that does not even exist on my fridge. He LIED to me, and they told me they "could not" refund money for a service call. they literally stole money from me by charging me for services not rendered.

I had a horrible experience with this company. I called to make an appointment because my refrigerator was cutting on and off. The man who answered the phone was rude and condescending. I scheduled a service call anyway because I really needed my refrigerator fixed. The technician was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. He said I needed to replace my mother board and that he would try and find the part. I paid my $75.00 service fee and he left. I called a couple days later to see if he found the part. I got the run around and he said he would call me back. I waited again for a couple days and called back. This time I gave him a website with the part on it to order. He never ordered it or called me back. I finally called another company to fix my refrigerator. The service tech at Alabama Home Appliance could not get the job done. I believe he never had any intention of ordering my part and just wanted my $75.00 service fee. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are dishonest and rude.

This company is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. After setting up an appointment to have my appliance assessed, I was never contacted by a staff member. My appointment came and went with no communication. My husband called to inquire and informed that he hadn't received a call from anyone there, but it wasn't a big deal. The employee reschedule the appointment for another day. The next appointment comes and goes with no communication. My husband calls again. This goes on for a couple of days. We set up an appointment, wait for a call, no one calls and my husband has to call them to inquire as to why. The last time my husband called to inquire on why no one contacted him about assessing the appliance, the employee states that "I remembered who you were and your wife was rude to me on the phone. So I didn't feel that we needed to start a professional relationship on those terms" and immediately hangs the phone up on my husband. Neither myself nor my husband was ever rude to anyone, ever. Even if they felt we or I was rude, why wouldn't you contact me and say so as opposed to rescheduling my appointments with no intent to ever come out and look at the appliance. I have worked in customer service for years and this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever received in my entire life. Very unprofessional and RUDE! Which is what they claim I was to them. DO NOT PATRONIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the most overpriced repair service I have ever come across. I was charged $200 for a job that took only 30 minutes and they will tell you that there is no warranty after. I wish my wife had never called them in the first place. I would have given them no stars if there was a way. I will highly not recommend this place to anyone.

This is the biggest scam going. Make $75 bucks for a few minutes of work. Anyone can tell you have a defective compressor, the poor/naive consumer simply believes what the technician tells him. Do not use the company, there are plenty of honest companies out there, but this not one of them. I paid $75 for a refrigerator service call. I was told i need a new compressor. Hired another company to check the system. That company recharged my system and my refrigerator has been purring along ever sense. Nothing was wrong with the compressor what so ever.
