Ohhhh my I have had lots of Mexican food in my life... But this place tops the cake... Excellent food and couldn't belive this place was so dead. If you love Mexican food like me, then try this place.
Great food at a great price and nice atmosphere and service.
The Alamo Restaurant has been the best Mexican restaurant in the Washington DC area for me and my family for the past 50 years. I ate there two days ago and it’s still a fine restaurant. Thank you for staying consistent all these years.
The food, the service, and the location was all great!!!
The place was understaffed...took a little while to receive food, refills, the bill, etc. The food was good, but the taco shells/tortillas tasted a little weird. Nice atmosphere and vibe. Here are pictures of the current menu.

Really nice place!!! Comfortable, Hospitable and delicious. Probably the best Cadillac Margarita ever!
