Went into the store this is the real deal artists/carvers work in the back of the shop and are more than happy to meet and discuss what they are doing. I did meet with the owner great person extremely helpful. This is a great place to buy real Alaska native art and meet the artists.

Owner was incredibly rude and almost menacing as soon as we walked in. We said "hello" and then asked if he was okay after he didn't respond, and he then angrily told us we could leave. So we walked right back out. It was bizarre and a little bit scary.

Really friendly and helpful staff, and you can get quality art pieces at reasonable prices too.
