Wow, what fun this was. Bob was an amazing tour guide. He took great pictures of us at a couple spots. We rode a large loop and then hiked down to the falls. The wheelers were very comfy. I rode on the back of my husband to take pictures and it was so nice. The hike down was not too hard, and coming back up was harder. We stopped to look for wildlife. Saw goats and bear tracks.
The Girdwood ATV excursion with Bob was one of our groups favorite activities during our Alaska vacation. Bob was able to accommodate a wide variety of skill levels in our group, and is an experienced and knowledge guide. This is a way to see the wilderness of Alaska that we would otherwise not have been able to see. The ride itself is challenging but manageable and the waterfalls are spectacular. This is not to be missed!
What a fun exhilarating experience! Be prepared to venture into the wilderness trekking over a rocky terrain filled with snow, ice chunks, bodies of water and more. Bob, our experienced guide who also doubles as a caring photographer and will literally position you and your group in the exact positions to capture the most amazing backdrop for your photos, leads you through the backroads with enough passion to create an experience you won’t forget very soon. The fun doesn’t stop with the ATVs, you hike down a mountain and along the way, you will experience the most beautiful views your eyes have ever seen, all culminating in a body of water with glaciers and a waterfall. Truly spectacular!!
Our guide Brad was the best I have ever seen while doing ATV tours. Not only did he take us down stunning and daring paths, he showed us quite a bit that maybe most tours don’t get to see. We were in great company and he was extremely friendly, professional, and gave great advice about Alaska! I highly recommend this company. You won’t regret it!! They are truly the experts on ATV and all things Alaska.
This was hands down one of the best ATV tours I've ever been on! Bob not Bob was an amazing guide. He was wholesome and knowledgeable. Not only did he show us amazing sites, he knew exactly how to pose us to get the best shot. Thanks Bob! We'll for sure be back.
Wow!!! Bob and Jake are amazing! This tour is definitely worth the price! I had a group with different skill levels and pace and it didn’t matter. Everyone got to experience everything even if some of us were a bit slower on the trails. We took breaks for lookouts and pictures. The trails were fun and muddy! We didn’t care and expected it! The guides took the time to get to know everyone personally and even shared some personal stories. Very friendly and nice. Definitely a trip to remember! Thank you so much!
This was def a highlight of our trip this year. My father & I spend a week every year in Alaska. We try to do something different each year & this year we spent an afternoon with Alaska ATV Adventures. We had a blast! Highly recommend!
Spent the afternoon with Bob riding ATV. Bob was really good making sure everyone was comfortable with the equipment. Also was wondering if Bob used to be professional photographer. Felt like a professional sitting as he posed each one of us. Bob did his best looking out for some wildlife but was unsuccessful in finding any. Family said they felt like the ATV ride was like the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland.
Do NOT do this tour if it's been dry and sunny. You'll eat dust for 3 hours and have one great river/waterfall stop, which you can access for free by foot. Absolutely abysmal experience. If it has just rained, is colder weather and less dry, maybe give it a go, but if you're here in Summer and it's been dry and sunny do NOT waste your money to eat dust for 3 hours.
