Cost to much for spectators...firebird raceway that is a NHRA 1/4 mile home of the winter nationals is allways free for spectators and you have bleacher and stand seating albuquerque is so sorry everything here is so expensive....TIME TO MOVE BACK TO A REAL STATE SEE YOU SOON AZ...OKC KICK NEW MEXICO BUTTS AND MAKE SURE YOU GAP THEM PLEASE..BIG CHIEF...

Lots of fun. Very noisy but it's a car racing venue. Lots of people and food places to grab a bite. Plenty of portable toilets if you go there in just your own car or pickup. Plenty of parking for mobile homes or RV's.

What a great way to spend a Friday or Saturday. Kids under 12 are free. Where else can you spend hours watching some of the coolest cars and fiercest competition between local and regional drivers for a few buck to enter. This is a Super value for your money. Regardless of who you are you have all access to the pits and drivers. You can even race your own car as long as it will pass the basic safety inspections for a few extra dollars above the cost of a spectator’s ticket. The staffs main focus is safety for both competitors and spectators. Everyone is very welcoming and focused on providing a safe and entertaining atmosphere. There is racing for all classes from street cars, daily drivers, Jr Dragsters, all the way up to 200 mph alcohol dragsters and funny cars. Depending upon the time of year the track is either running at night or during the day. As the weather gets warmer the schedule changes from day to night racing. So be sure to visit the website and check the schedule. There are 3 or 4 races a season that feature 200 mph+ 1/4 mile ground pounding, tire smoking, pro mods, funny cars, dragsters, and jet cars. The best races of the year are the Hot Rod Rumble ( no cars newer than 1974 are allowed to enter) and the All Out Call Out. Both of these races happen twice a year and are a total blast and the competition is very strong between racers. The concessions are great. Hawg’s Grill has some of the very best green chile cheese burgers in New Mexico and the prices are very reasonable. They also have a great variety of other foods on the menu and offer the best breakfast burritos I have ever eaten. So if your looking for a great, safe, entertaining family atmosphere this is the place to go. Check the schedule, pack up the cooler, load up the kids and head out for some great racing and family fun. Do not forget the sunscreen and ear plugs. Hope to see you there!!!
