I played a couple of years of professional golf after college so I have a pretty good understanding of my swing. I had identified a couple of issues that I could not self-correct so I called Alex to schedule a lesson. It is extremely important when you select a teaching pro that your swing philosophy if you have one matches that of the pro. I had worked with Alex about 10 years ago and knew the level of knowledge he had back then and was excited to see how he had developed as an instructor. I am so glad that I called him. Within 15 minutes, he had identified a few issues that needed to be fixed and we got to work. By the end of the lesson, my ball flight had completely changed. I have had two lessons in the past 30 days and the results of Alex's instruction have far exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for an instructor that can help both better players and beginners alike, Alex is your guy. He is knowledgeable, friendly and wants his students to improve. I had a great experience working with Alex for a day through his one day golf program! We covered an amazing amount of the different aspects of my game in one day - from full swing irons and driver to all aspect of my short game. His video analysis and explanations were enlightening and very helpful. The drills all were easy to understand and execute and I look forward to working on them and improving my game. It was an excellent experience from the profile and survey work ahead of my day to the videos that were voice annotated by Alex with reminders out his coaching and focus points for me. We worked on the private range as well as played nine holes where he helped translate what we worked on to a true learning experience on the the beautiful Camelback course. He’s an outstanding teacher and great person. I’m totally energized about improving my golf. Thanks Alex!

I've had a few instructors, and Alex has by FAR been the most effective. What I really appreciate is that he is able to identify issues with your swing/body mechanics and work on them one at a time with you. My score has been dropping and the quality of my game is improving. He also doesn't skip the short game and won't let you!. Not sure what I'm going to do when he leaves Arizona for the summer....

I started working with Alex over 10 years ago. With his help, I improved my handicap from a 9 down to a 4.2 index in about a year's time. Alex has a welcoming and calm demeanor, which helps relax the student to receive the lesson's information. Alex simplifies the swing into basic parts, making small adjustments for major improvements in a short time frame. I recently reconnected with Alex at a time that my swing and ball contact was suffering significantly. Within 10 minutes, Alex had me making solid contact, with vastly improved ball flight, and resulting increased distance, restoring my confidence that I can play like I used to. I would recommend Alex to players of all skill levels, and particularly those looking to sharpen their game for competition.

I only started playing golf over three years ago. I had no skills or any concept of the game. Alex has a tremendous teaching ability that put me in the direction I needed to go. I've been going to Alex ever since then because when my swing is off , he has a great eye for troubleshooting. When he's been in Colorado a few times, I've went to other instructors and was not impressed. In my opinion if you want to bring your game to that next level, it helps to have an instructor you see on a regular basis. Someone who is patient and knows the type of golfer you are, and who knows your swing mechanics so they can make the proper adjustments to get your game back on track. Go see Alex!

I have used a few golf instructors before I met Alex. No one every connected with my brain in such simple terms. I couldn’t cure the dreaded “over the top” and Alex was able to explain the basics of the swing and kept the directions simple and straight forward to finally cure it. He is very personable, fun, and has a perfect eye to spot and explain your problem, and fix it. He has lots of tools and skills to fit every individual and implements and demonstrates his abilities to make you understand. Do yourself a favor and call him!!

Alex is a terrific coach. He is extremely thorough and very positive. He has changed the entire way my daughter golfs. Her score has dropped dramatically in tournaments. He’s able to not only teach face to face, but also gives great drills to practice at home so she can continue to improve on her own. We have loved learning from Alex.

I was introduced to Alex when I asked one of my friends if I could go along with him to a lesson. I was warmly accepted. As I observed the lesson, I was so impressed with Alex's manner, his astute evaluation, and his teaching that I put his qualities into a comment I made to him, "Alex, you simplify the complexities of golf". In every subsequent lesson, I have found that philosophy to continue to be true and useful. Primarily by his coaching, my enjoyment of golf and my scores have improved. As all good teachers, he has taught me how to be somewhat of my own coach. This objective fits well with what I wish for and from myself. He has become a valued golf advisor and friend.

I can’t say enough good things about Alex very professional has a lot of great insight, drills that you can do on your own, he sends you a detailed video of your lesson. Completely fixed my slice with one simple drill, just a great overall experience definitely will be booking more lessons when he gets back in town. Thank you Alex you’re awesome!

I took up golf 7 years ago when I retired at age 64. I have to laugh today at my first lessons from a pro instructor in Florida. He physically grabbed me and wrenched me into his approved ball address posture. Within one minute I had literally 10 things to remember before I even struck the ball. Alex Fisher is absolutely nothing like that. Within a few minutes of being warmly welcomed by Alex, your new friend, he has analyzed your golf skill needs and then proceeds to demystify your path to improvement. With expert observation and encouragement, along with video analysis, you begin understanding in simple terms what you need to work on and how best to do that. My wife and I have both had instruction from Alex and we now love the game more than ever. Highly recommended.
