With this review, I aim to prevent other families from repeating the same mistake we made. David Alexander was hired to provide a professional opinion during a contested custody dispute. While the Judge ultimately disregarded his opinion, it inadvertently aided the opposing party by instilling fear and prolonging the decision-making process. Essentially, his services achieved their intended purpose, but that delay caused our children harm. In my view, David's' conduct paints him as another "pay-to-play" psychologist. He is willing to draft statements without thoroughly interviewing all parties involved as long as he receives payment, regardless of the harm his actions cause families and children. Notably, he has been associated with Howard Drutman and Bruce Steinfeld. I hope sharing this review will spare other families from undergoing a similar ordeal.

I would not recommend that you get David Alexander involved in your divorce case. There are a number of issues regarding his practice including his disorganization and a lack of confidentiality. While he says he won't testify in cases, with the right amount of money you can get him on the stand to testify against your ex. He is supposed to be an advocate for children - he is not. I've heard stories from other families in the Buckhead area regarding questionable behavior. I would not leave my young son with him after a couple of visits.

Stay far, far away from this man! He doesn’t advocate for a child’s best interest but for the parent with the most money and better attorney! His policies are draconian and you will be worse off, and poorer, after spending time with David Alexander.
