Ali Baba is truly a family run restaurant where everyone is welcome to experience the love of fine Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine.
Ali Baba Grill was started in Nov of 2000 by Fayad and Mahmoud. Their love of fine Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine stemmed from their respective upbringings. A native of Syria, Fiyahd spent a decade working as a chef at a large restaurant in Saudi Arabia, and his winning dishes reflect both his family background and his cooking experiences. Owner/chef Fiyahd Aoutabachi was one of the owners of the now-defunct La Zeez (its former home at 2594 South Colorado Boulevard is currently occupied by another Middle Eastern eatery, Aladdin). In 1999, he sold La Zeez and began making preparations to open Ali Baba.
In 2002 and 2004, Ali Baba Grill received the “Best Of Denver” award for the best Middle Eastern food in the area. Ali Baba is truly a family run business where everyone is welcome. Each small artistic artifact in the restaurant has a story. One unique fact about Ali Baba Grill is that all of our food is cooked fresh daily
