All Around Detailing

Very unprofessional outfit. I purchased their offer on Living Social for $300 worth of onsite boat detailing. I called to schedule an appointment in April letting them know the boat was a 13' Boston Whaler and that I had the Living Social offer. I also asked them to detail my motorcycle at the same time at their normal rate. They scheduled me for May 8th at 9am as their next available time. It was not convenient for me to wait nearly a month for the appointment; I was detailing the bike to sell it and wanted to get the boat launched earlier than May 8. Nonetheless, I took the appointment. On the evening of May 7 I went through the effort of relocating the boat in my yard so it was accessible with the garden hose and staged the motorcycle ready for them. On the morning of the appointment at 9:30am I get a phone call from co-owner Tim telling me they are not coming to do the work because the boat is too small and I am too far away and I should just ask for a refund on Living Social. Are you kidding me? They couldn’t have figured this out when I called him nearly a month ago? They had all the details on the size and location of the boat and I even called them to confirm they were coming a few days prior. Not once did they express concern about where I was located or the boat. He even said at 13’ the Living Social offer should cover the full amount of the boat detailing. I looked at their online reviews for car detailing and they are not impressive, so perhaps all for the best they backed out. I’ll go to Discount Detail in Plymouth where I know they do good work. I’m just pissed this place wasted so much of my time. I cannot recommend them the way they operate their business.
