Allan Woods Flowers

Ordered a bouquet for a gift. It was beautiful when it arrived but was wilted within 2 days. The arrangement included hydrangeas which only lasted about 24 hrs, several of the roses seemed old and browned within 2 days, and the irises never opened and appeared to have some rot in the buds. For a $126 bouquet I’d expect much fresher stems. I’ve used this company several times before and it didn’t disappoint in years past, but quality seems to have declined.

Allan Woods Flowers was amazing to work with for our wedding. Jack and the team were very reliable, flexible, and easy to work with especially during COVID. I had one picture of what I wanted and they created exactly that. We got so many compliments on our bouquets from guests and strangers!

I ordered roses for v-Day and I specifically requested them to be nice, yet this is what I got. The six pieces of completely untrimmed roses look like they were just cut from the garden, the whole thing was not presentable at all! Wrapped in brown paper without the slightest of hints it is for Valentine's. If she was to tell me it's just roses without any extra stuff I wouldn't buy but she specifically said they will make them look nice. Since they are flowers shop I trusted that they know exactly what that means. Most underwhelming purchase for $60 I've made. Borderline scam.

The best florist in Washington. Every time I send flowers from them people comment that it’s the most beautiful boutique they have ever seen. Friendly, reasonable, and reliable.

Just visited Allan Woods flower shop Paid for a beautiful bouquet of flowers but when I got onto the train realised that the gentleman took out my beautiful pink peony when he wrapped my flowers which was the most important part of the bouquet Incredibly disappointed Would not recommend

Amazing florist. Five stars all the way. Jack and his team do a phenomenal job. His attention to detail and excellent customer service is incredible. Plus, his flowers are a "cut" above the rest. Seriously, he the choices flowers and plants to give his customers complete satisfaction with product and price. I live in Texas but have relatives an friends in Washington DC. Allan Wood will be my first choice forever. Thanks, Jack, for the great service today.

HORRENDOUS customer service. The gentleman who is always there is incredibly rude and unfriendly. My fiance and I live in the area so its easy to pop over to purchase their incredibly over priced buds. It's always a gamble with how long the flowers will last. Sometimes it's 6 days. The last time I purchased they started dying that night! My fiance placed an order of 12 peonies for my birthday - I went to pick them up. When I told him what I was there for he rolled his eyes and made it seem like a chore to hand me the flowers that WERE ALREADY PAID FOR! They had 12 stems of already bloomed peonies sitting on the counter in brown paper. Who knows how long they were sitting out of water. When I asked if it was possible to receive unopened buds he scoffed and made it seem like I knew nothing about the flower and proceeded to pull out the tiniest buds he could find. I let him know that I purchase flowers quite regularly, and have been a repeat customer of theirs. I also mentioned that I was unsure why there always seems to be a problem when I come to this store and he said "not sure what to tell you that's not my problem." Cringeworthy and disappointing. For $15 per stem for a peony you'd think you could get better service and flowers.

I ordered flowers from Allan Woods for a friend, who reported that the arrangement was "exquisite" and the loveliest arrangement he'd ever received. The recipient also said he'd never order flowers from anywhere else in the future. Many thanks to Jack for great customer service and to the people who created and delivered the beautiful arrangement!

Had a last minute request and Allen hooked me up. Quick chat on the phone, cranked out in 15 mins, stopped by at rush hour, a lovely arrangement, my wife loved it. I'm not encouraging people to wait until the last minute, but the willingness to even make this possible and the execution is much appreciated. Thanks AW!
