I can't recommend these guys enough! We had our engagement photos done with Allebach Photography and they turned out amazing! We had a campy horror theme in mind and Mike and Erika DELIVERED. The whole day ran so smoothly, I was so happy they understood what we wanted. The location Mike picked was stunning and though we did not shoot anything in the studio, all the settings looked so fun. I also had my makeup and hair done by a very nice person in the studio whose name escapes me, but did a phenomenal job. The album that we picked was perfect and the final photos were gorgeous. If we ever need more professional photos done, we know who to call!
I cannot express enough how happy I was having my boudior photos done!! I would highly recommend having your photos taken by them...highly professional and the time they take with you for your shoot!! Mike and Erika make you feel like a million bucks!! Their final photos come out so beautifully and the album you choose is so incredibly beautiful too!! I highly recommend having your photo shoot with with them....one of the BEST experiences of my life!! I would do it again in a heartbeat!!
This is an excellent place to get couples boudoir photographs. We came up there and the photographers Michael and Erika were great at getting us to relax and get into the spirit of the shoot. It was an amazing opportunity for us to explore our sensual sides as a couple. The only problem with the preview pictures was that we had to narrow them down to a reasonable number for the album and artwork. Looking forward to going back to get our pictures!
I had a boudoir photoshoot back in June and it was absolutely amazing!!! I originally scheduled for this back in April, however I had a family emergency and had to reschedule last minute. Both Mike and Erika were extremely empathetic towards my situation, so that first impression spoke volumes!! When I finally made it to my appointment, the entire experience from my hair and makeup in the beginning to the actual shoot itself was incredible. The reveal....I cannot explain how empowering it was!! I cried!! My album came in a few weeks later and I made the trip back I'm from NJ JUST so I could see Erika again. It's absolutely beautiful!! I suffer from Body Dysmorphia, and this experience has changed me in such positive ways I can't even explain it!!! If you're on the fence about doing this.....DO IT!!!!
My family and I recently came in to have family photos done and the experience could NOT have been better. From the moment you come in the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Erika met us there and chatted with us while my daughter and I got our hair done by Heather. Because my little one was bursting with excitement it was really hard for her to sit still. Erika and Heather were 100% on board with her excitement. They were not annoyed or worried about her messing anything up but instead engaged with her and showed her around and encouraged her to explore the different sets. During the shoot, Erika was amazing. She is exceptionally good at her job because she knows exactly how to put everyone at ease and then captures the moments that are authentic to your family. On top of that, the photos are just stunning. While we waiting for the "big reveal" we sat in a cozy living room like area in the studio. They gave us snacks and games which was a life saver because we were starving at that point and i only thought to bring snacks for my daughter. Truly, the studio gives thought to EVERY part of the process and wants you to enjoy yourself. The reveal was so special. Something my husband and I will remember for a long time to come. Saying the photos were beautiful would be a deservice because the reveal of the photos is an emotional experience. There was beautiful music and the thought put into the slides was a beautiful story of my family and the things that bond us together silly moments, giggles, and looks of sass and love displayed on a big screen. If you are considering this studio...just go for it. There will be nothing you regret about this experience. It will bring you and your family close and really reflect what is important to you and makes your relationships special. Do it.

My then boyfriend n I had the time of our lives! So much so that we got engaged at the end of our session! Our photoshoot was more than we ever imagined! We can not thank Allebach Photography enough! If you’re nervous it’s all ok but I promise you you want to do a shoot!
We initially selected Mike Allebach of Allebach Photography to take some photos of us for our 20th anniversary with the thought that we would have a beautiful framed photo as a result. What we envisioned and what we ended up with was literally a million-fold better – and that is not an exaggeration. Mike spoke with each of us separately prior to the shoot and then we set a time and date for the shoot. Mike suggested the Philadelphia Art Museum during the ‘golden hour’ at the end of the day. I cannot even begin to tell you what a fantastic time we had with Mike and the actual shoot was an amazing experience full of fun and laughter. The photos were taken all around the Art Museum and Schuylkill River area and while it was a busy crowded day; Mike managed to frame the shots so it looked as if we were the only one there. Many have asked if we cleared the area for our photoshoot because of Mike’s skillful photography. The resulting images were also amazing and instead of one framed photo, we ended up with a beautiful 6 foot collage of photos printed on metal that is now a prominent art installation in our home. We also ended up choosing fifty 50 – yes, FIFTY – of the images Mike shot that day for our collection. Mike absolutely did a fantastic job and created amazing works of art out of two ordinary people who have been together for twenty years. Everyone who sees the photos and knows us always says that the photos are “absolutely you guys”. I should mention that we are a gay male couple and Mike was very comfortable with us as we were with him; he is very easy to work with and truly one of the most laid back photographers I have known – and I have known many. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike Allebach to any straight, gay, trans-gendered or any other flavor of person for any photos they may want from boudoir to personal to professional. He is truly an amazing and gifted artist/photographer.
Somthing so magical happens at the Allebach Photography! It is an alluring atmosphere. They make you feel at home, coach you through your movement, your expressions and suddenly a shift happens - this indescribable feeling just takes over as you find your comfort - the butterflies disappear and suddenly you are jut lost in your partners eyes, your souls are intertwined and your inner light and alter ego shine so so bright. We were brought to tears when our photos were finally revealed to us on the big screen. The raw emotion that was captured, to see the way my husband looks at me, to see how breathtakingly gorgeous and spicy we are. It was a life changing experience that changes you as a person and a couple in the most incredible way. This was the best gift we could have given ourselves to celebrate our love and we are counting down the days for our wall art and picture box arrival. Every person and couple should step right outside that comfort zone and treat themselves to a session.
Mike and Erika are amazing. My boudoir session was fun and stress free from start to finish. Getting hair and makeup done while drinking champagne was awesome. Erika sat down with me before we started shooting to ask me what my goals were and it was a great conversation that helped me to feel more comfortable with her. It’s definitely nerve wracking at first but after 20 mins or so I definitely felt more comfortable and started to have so much fun! It’s great that Erika and Mike give you direction on how to pose etc. After the shoot I went to relax and eat a beautiful little charcuterie board they had waiting for me. Erika presented my pictures to me as a slide show on a projector screen and I have NEVER had that many goosebumps in my life. We went through and picked the photos I loved and Erika even offered her own insight which was nice too. I am absolutely in love with my photos and the experience is WELL worth the money, and I know I will be working with them again!
