This place was ok. The complimentary water bottle in my room had been opened and was not completely full. The television did not work, which was probably related to the batteries in the remote. It was not especially clean in the rooms or lobby, but not terrible.
The store downstairs has very little - don't expect to have breakfast here unless you want very expensive donuts or cold cereal. The bed was very comfortable, and the front desk staff were professional and friendly.

Been here on two separate occasions with my fiancee for our anniversary. It's not the top hotel in terms of space. On a bright note it has a trendy look and room size is decent but a tad bit over priced. Hotel staff for the most part were very accommodating. Not much for views because of all the construction going on downtown but you're also really close to NYC transit and all the stores on the strip downtown. Barclays is a hop skip and jump away. I would recommend to plenty of people. Worst part of experience was all the noise. Walls are thin and hallways are cramped so you can hear just about everything that goes on.

This place (Aloft Brooklyn) is the worst place ever. Based on my experience there I would not encourage a single soul to step foot in there. As a visitor to the U.S., I encountered an incident at Aloft where i was staying as a guest and I was left completely on my own with them telling me there is nothing they can do about the situation, which is no fault of mine I might add. This place is definitely a "no no"!! Would not want anything that happen to me there, happen to anyone else. In regards to the appearance of the place, there is no view unless you want to stare at a construction site; the carpets are dirty and needs to be cleaned, especially the bedroom I was in during my stay. The reception area is also very dirty, the receptionists counter is a mess. I would not spend another dollar to go back here. The worst!!! Don't even deserve a star.

The surroundings are fairly quiet, despite nearby construction. The bed is quite comfortable. The blinds block out a very large amount of light, which is good. The staff, both cleaning and lobby, are friendly. The price was reasonable. Some potential improvements: would like actual drawers for clothing. Shower water pressure leaves something to be desired. Temperature control in the room could be improved a bit. Overall, would return.

I was staying in Aloft hotels in lots of cities, this one the most expensive. Overall my stay was pretty good, the room was clean, bed was comfortable. The only thing I did not like, is coffee machine was broken , as soon as I poured water in there, it started leaking. I was checking out at this time, so didn’t call the reception. But when I let them know, the gentlemen at the reception kindly offered me a cold brew coffee , and then he said he actually can’t do that. Well, not a big deal, but don’t offer in future if you can not provide with that. View from the window- construction view.
Always ask the price price AFTER tax, because tax is approximately $40 a day.
The rest was fine.
