Alpha Environmental is a full-service residential & commercial environmental consulting & remediation company, serving the greater Portland area for over 15 years, with expertise ranging from Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to mold and sewer work.

Story

Alpha Environmental Services, Inc. (Alpha) offers a wide range of environmental services in consulting, environmental assessments, remediation, and management. Alpha performs much of this work in regards to real estate due diligence for commercial and residential real estate acquisition and finance.

Alpha was founded in 1995 by Phillip Brewer under the name PRK Environmental Services. We changed our name to Alpha in the year 2000 when we expanded into providing remediation services as well as consulting, incorporating in 2002. From the beginning until now our goal has always been to provide an outstanding level of service while maintaining a practical and equitable cost structure. The environmental field has been a rapidly growing and changing industry over the last few decades with an increasing need for proficiency as environmental issues continue to expand. The diverse array of expertise and wide range of services that Alpha provides allows us to meet these needs and offer each individual client an exceptional level of diligence and quality.

Whether it’s a major lender evaluating their risk exposure, or a prospective buyer wishing to ensure the security of their investment, Alpha has earned the reputation for providing its clients with superior services and exceptional value.

Alpha has continued to grow and expand each year mainly through references and word of mouth regarding the proven quality of our work. Today Alpha has 18 full-time employees, and a network of numerous subcontractors and experts in all phases of environmental issues. The company’s environmental services include Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs); Environmental design, management and cleanup; both commercial and residential Underground Storage Tank (UST) services; Soil and groundwater assessment and cleanup; Vapor intrusion mitigation design and implementation; Radon testing and mitigation installation; Asbestos and lead-paint surveys; Drywell sampling and registration; Monitoring well installation and monitoring; Mold testing and remediation; and Stormwater monitoring

Environmental projects carried out by Alpha are expertly directed by a team of professionals with a diverse set of complimentary skills and expertise. These professionals work as a team to discuss complicated aspects of all projects and to review each other’s work. All reports undergo a thorough technical review consisting of an initial peer review, followed by a final review. All sources of information employed during the assessment are thoroughly cross-referenced and examined for accuracy. All professional opinions are meticulously detailed, clearly illustrating the factors involved in formulating conclusions and subsequent recommendations. We have one goal, to protect our clients and their investments.
