I rarely give 1-star reviews but this place is utterly horrible. I don’t know how they stay in business, there are clearly disorganized with terrible record keeping and business processes. This was my 4th time using them and it gets worse every time. First time ~6 years ago was okay but the install was delayed. Second time they had to come back again before ordering to re-measure the opening. Third time the cost went through the roof due to Covid I guess and a 7-foot patio slider being involved. But this last time really takes the cake: So last fall I brought in my XO window which had a broken seal for a quote hoping to get it done before rain and cold arrived, a few weeks later I ask them to order the glass. They tell me they can’t find the quote. I go back a month later with the window again and they tell me the cost went up. I say go ahead and order the glass. Neither time did he offer me a copy of the quote. Months go by and finally this week Monday I get a call from a clearly frustrated person telling me I need to come pick up my glass. I tell him I’ll be there on Friday. Just getting to the good stuff now… I go in today Friday for the new glass to be installed fully expecting the cost to be higher again. The tech rips out my old glass unit like he’s chopping up a side of beef, flipping my window frame over and back. The old glass unit gets broken in the process, then they realized they either called me by mistake or tossed out my glass unit earlier in the week when they were cleaning the shop. So I have them duct tape the window back together and I tell the manager unless he’s going to give me a discount for my trouble don’t bother ordering the IGU again—I don’t want to deal with them anymore. They seem fairly incompetent on the whole. He refuses and I say F U and walk out. It was a great day. Bottom line, customer service is 0, quality of work is a 2, and the value is no great bargain. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Deplorable behavior: I'd contacted Alpine Glass for an estimate on extensive window work, including some that was urgent. They sent someone out who left without giving an estimate and didn't contact me for the rest of the day. I contacted Alpine to see if they had an estimate ready, as I'd already received 2 other quotes for the urgent work over the phone. Monica picked up the phone and was extremely rude, even laughing at me. When Bret finally took the call, he was likewise rude. He was either not been informed of or had forgotten about the extensive work I need done interrupting, me and saying "we don't even roll out for less than $200" in a nasty, mocking tone when I told him about quotes I'd received for the urgent work. Absolutely awful.

I got quoted 54.00 for the glass and 3.50 for the points 7.00 for the glaze. I don't understand how I got charged 103.00

Quoted $500 to insert two new panes of glass I already have into a doublehung window. Both panes are only 24x30 inches. I guess I’ll just do the fairly simple procedure I watched on You Tube. Rip-off service. And somewhat unprofessional ‘Hello’ when I called.

I did not have a positive experience with this company. We needed to get 2 glasses replaced at home for tempered glass. We took 1 window to their shop. They scheduled a tech to come to the house and take measurements. When the windows came in the tech came out and the windows he had were the wrong size and were not tempered. We simply asked them to re measure and to order for tempered glass. 3 weeks later they were able to come back after several phone calls. When the tech came back he had tempered windows : unfortunately they were the wrong size. When I called the office, and told the attendant I may need to go with another company he replied "That's fine, I don't care what you do, it doesn't matter to me". Our project is now delayed.

truly terrible experience working with this shop. error after error after, and not one of them being due to “supply chain.” they came out 3 different times to install and never completed the job. first it was incorrectly manufactured panels, then it was arriving without proper brackets, and finally it was trying to install with warped materials and leaving me with holes in my brand new tile and no shower glass. this is to say nothing of the disrespectful and unprofessional attitudes of the various installers who walked into my home. complaining they didn’t want to be here, talking about how they didn’t want to be in this business anymore, refusing to take off their shoes before walking on my brand new carpet claiming it was “illegal” do so. my advice: save yourself the trouble and go with anyone else. 0 stars.
