Alzheimer's New Jersey

Alzheimer's New Jersey is an invaluable part of the community. The resources they provide are simply outstanding. When my grandfather was first diagnosed, they helped me so much that their compassion drove me to become a volunteer for the organization. If you live in New Jersey and have been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's or a Dementia related disease (or have a family member with either) and are in need of guidance, support, or information about respite grant programs or care, there is no better team of compassionate, caring people to help you through this difficult time than the team at Alzheimer's New Jersey. They have a vast depth of community programs and resources that are entirely free for families and individuals.

It is very sad that there are now 2 groups fighting to end Alzheimer's in NJ and fighting each other. This group that is soley focused on raising and keeping money in NJ. The other group, that I support, is the National organization that is raising money National wide. I live in NJ, but my mother who is afflicted with Alzheimer's lives in Florida. Why would I ever want funds I raise to stay only in NJ? That is a very selfish way to view this great cause. There is more power with many than with few.
