Ambassador

I thought this place was great. I went in for a late lunch and had a great experience. The service was attentive, my glass was never empty and the food was freshly prepared. It may have taken a little longer than most places I've tried, but it was worth the wait. The crab puffs looked hand twisted and my orange chicken didn't taste like it had been from a freezer bag. It appeared hand breaded. You could also order it grilled I wish I had come in sooner.

I’m just going to agree with Jay Francis and let his review stand. Food is a 3, but staff is a 5. Overall I had a decent meal and was not disappointed. Wasn’t blown away, but still enjoyed it. Staff really is the difference here. Every single person was nice and friendly. Even as I’m leaving I hear someone shout from the back corner “Thank you!” Look over and see the owner waving goodbye.

Been going to Ambassador for over 25 years, It never disappoints. To start, the hand rolled egg rolls are amazing and every thing else always tastes perfectly delicious. Must try the Hot Braised Prawns so flavorful, never found anything even close to this dish anywhere. Love the clean coziness along with good service and always a warm welcome from the incredible owner.

I was looking for some good Chinese food . The food was not to my liking, not because the Cheif didn't cook it right, it just didn't taste good. It was a nice size portion for the price but the food was bland, I ordered shrimp fried rice and egg foo young and neither entree tasted like it should, I was looking for a generous amount of egg and onions in the food and also some spices.

Went to pickup an order of egg rolls. Today at lunch. It was $4.97! The cashier told me in order to use debit that I must spend $5.00. So I unfortunately had to turn around and leave with no food and they had an order of egg rolls to throw out! All over 3 pennies! I guess they have their priorities!

I and my family went to the ambassador this weekend the located in the galleria area. The service we received was great we had such a big order with a few substitutions that they accommodated for us and everything came out right and food was hot and fresh. The the atmosphere is comfy nothing's to upscale but it was a nice place to enjoy food.

Oh yeah! The atmosphere is somewhat dated, but the food, THE FOOD! I know good Chinese food and this is not good, it's the best in town!! Try it out, it speaks for itself. We drive 30 miles from Cypress and we are never disappointed.

This has become my go to lunch restaurant. The food is fresh and hot. I've tried multiple items on their lunch menu and nothing has disappointed me. In fact, everything has been great. I especially like the Mongolian Beef, pictured.Food: 5/5

One of the best Chinese food We've had in a long time. Very good customer service and the staff is very friendly and nice. Will be back for sure!
