AMC Deptford 8

Friendly and helpful employees along with the most comfortable reclining seats I've ever been in made this movie experience quite memorable. The popcorn was fresh and delicious. The theater was clean and parking was ample. An excellent choice with a location easy to get to from anywhere in Philadelphia or South Jersey. Enjoy!

We entered the building to a friendly worker, but the person at the concession stand seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else. Others behind the counter seemed more interested in who was the "mom of AMC". We got to the theater early for Avengers and noticed people waiting for the end credits. We waited for a while after they left and saw the theater hadn't been cleaned yet. We waited until 5 minutes before the start time before we sat down. I cleaned up the mess left behind in my seat. There was trash in seats, cup holders, and on the floor. During the movie you could tell one of the speakers needed to be replaced. I'd rather drive to the theaters in Turnersville than return to AMC.

I attempted to get Deadpool 2 tickets today with the green passes. Girl at the counter said they couldn't be used for Marvel films. I explained that's only for Disney this is a Fox movie. She insisted she was right. Long story short I just bought the damn tickets. It's pretty bad when I know the policy better than she does.

We enjoy going to this theater because it's easy to get to and has the recliner seats. However the last few times we have been there the ticket kiosks were broken or out of paper. This meant we had to stand in line even though we ordered tickets ahead. Then they dont have anyone (or anyone paying attention) to take the tickets. One time the ticket taker was 3 feet away playing on his phone. Tried to get his attention and he turned away from us! Again, nice theater if you don't mind putting up with some initial teen attitude.

I love the reclining seats which is why I give it the 5 stars.... however just like any other theater for a small popcorn and cookie dough bites it costs my fiance and I 13.00, not to mention the cookie dough bites I'm almost positive they were expired. However if we did not have AMC gift cards for the tickets they would have cost us almost 20. But if you see a earlier show it's a little cheaper which we did. The seats are defiantly the best part but if I didn't have the gift cards I probably wouldn't go back.....UNLESS it's a movie I really want to see I'd pay.
