This is an amazing place. We download their self tour app, highly recommended for detailed site information and stories. The staff are not only very helpful but are also a wealth of information and stories about this Active archeology site. And to top it off, a family of Alpacas! A hidden gem and must see.
An enchanting place full of New England history. We enjoyed a nice family hike through the trails finding all of the sites there were to see along the way, the mobile app is very informative and is like having your own personal tour guide. Nice little day trip for people of all ages, and not too far away from other amenities.
This was a great family field trip..... outside, not crowded, bought my tickets ahead of time easily. The kids had a great time running around and looking at the different rock "rooms"

I've wanted to see this site for years, and to me it wasn't a disappointment. Just the fact that you are surrounded by stone structures that were built four thousand years ago was fascinating. The trails and forest are just beautiful, and the museum was small but very interesting.
The surrounding area is a nice bike ride NH and MA border. However, the actual park is $13 to enter and the stones in the stonehenge exhibit are all toppled. Other stone work is more intact. In the end,, there are many hiking opportunities that are free.
