Update: yard debris missed 6 weeks in a row, and just received email stating it will be missed this weekend again...that's 7 WEEKS!!! Most neighbors are tossing yard debris into regular bins to keep neighborhood clean as paper bags are falling apart and they refuse to collect in plastic bags. Received email regarding yet another collection day change merely one month after already having changed one of the collection days. Regular trash schedule changed to 1x/week instead of 2x. Yard waste schedule changed to weekends, and since missed 4 weeks in a row....again. Constantly missing pickups. Calling repeatedly, and their automated system every time defaults to "we are experiencing high call volumes....please call back later." Impossible to get a hold of and file a complaint, yet the service prices keep creeping up. Just found out they're almost $30/mo more than their biggest competitor for my area who actually used to be more expensive, and neighbors claim their services are more reliable. In the past when I called to complain about missed pickups of 2 weeks or more, they promise to send someone next day and discount my next bill. No discount was applied of course, and small chance the "next day pickup" ever happens either. If you have other options in your neighborhood, take them... I'm canceling as soon as someone decides to pick up the phone over there.
Wow. Just moved to Alexandria, got American Disposal’s services, and so far, it’s been quite horrid. Here’s our yard waste, now 3 weeks after putting it out and 3 calls to American later. Nothing. They also missed our trash the first week. They keep saying they’re putting our address on the list for the people making their rounds, but we’re just not seeing it. They have the most affordable prices compared to competitors, but I guess sometimes you get what you pay for. Totally fed up. About to switch back to Republic, which is what the previous owners had.
The worst trash company I have experienced in the past twelve years. Not that Webb Brothers was perfect either, but there was a significant downtrend in quality of pickup as soon as they acquired Webb and took over our neighborhood. They leave trash bins ALL over the neighborhood, sidewalk, street, etc. Yesterday, my recycling bin was nowhere to be found, until I walked ten houses over where it was strewn on its side. That is the care and attention that this company gives to your trash service. In addition, we have had several days where recycling isn’t picked up at all for the day. Could not recommend them to anyone. Look elsewhere for trash and recycling pickup.
You got to be kidding me no trash and recycle to be picked up last 2 weeks. I always got emailed service delay and will pick up today but it didn't . I paid your bill please do your service better. It is so trashy in our community.
