American Laundrymat

Neat, clean, extremely helpful attendant on duty. The card system is difficult but manageable with assistance.

Not the greatest laundromat. Nearby Riverton has a much better coin-op laundromat. The card system they use here can seem like a rip off. They charge $5 dollars for the card itself and have a $10 minimum to add to the card. So even a single load of laundry for someone passing through costs $15. Unless they are around to loan you a card, which they seem nice enough to offer. Additionally, some of the dryers only do time in 40 minute increments, so if you need 45 minutes, you will have to pay for 80 minutes. However, to be fair, they have free WiFi and all the non-operational machines were clearly marked.

Lauromat is clean and has lots of machines,BIG BUT coming you have to buy a plastic card (credit type) for $5.00 then you load how much you want to put on,don't overload NO REFUNDS! The loads are $2.50 a pop which I think is high but I understand small town tourist clientele,but the paying 5.00 for the card really makes my teeth grind.

Plenty of machines in good condition, and a nice amount of waiting and working space. Free wifi! Everything requires payment with a moneygram card. You either have to pay extra to buy one or have an awkward exchange with the attendant before they reveal you can borrow a preloaded one and pay back what you spend, seemingly on the honor system.
