the American Legion is a NON PROFIT 501c3 organization, our goal is to continue to make a difference in the lives of Veterans in the community.
Our post was Chartered in 1921 and ha been active in the community for the past 96 years. the post was first located on Euclid Ave. between B and C streets in downtown in 1953 we moved to our current location on Emporia Street.
On Memorial Day in 1933 Post 112 began placing crosses and flags on the Veterans grave locations at Bellevue Cemetery in Ontario, that tradition continues today.
in 1976 Post 112 along with Bellevue Memorial Park assisted with the building and placement of the Veterans Memorial marker in the Veterans section of the cemetery
