We came up and got a ton of rocks. The first loader was awesome. Then went back to get more. This time he dumped them down the side of my truck. All those spots are paint chips. It’s not a new truck but it had all its paint when we took it up there. If this is how they run their business it’s a wonder they are still in business.
Unfortunately we will not be doing any business with this location solely on the aspect of how we were treated. My wife and I are in the process of planning out a very large project that requires a fair amount of stone, however, because we were treated so poorly and disrespectfully, I can't recommend this place for business. We walked around the yard and saw some very nice pieces of stone that we could have possibly integrated into our project so we walked into the office to get some help and clarification. Upon entering, a gentlemen came out of the office and approached us, we greeted him and said, "Hi, I have a question for you if you don't?" His reply, "What?" "Do you happen to carry any pavers, such as Belgard?" His reply, "Nope." "Would you by chance know of any places that would have them?" His reply, "Not really." And then proceeded to walk back to his office. If I'm going to spend money somewhere, I'm going to spend it where people appreciate our business and aren't annoyed with having to do their job. We did nothing wrong to be treated this way and if he would have showed any care for us being there, this review would have been completely different and most likely would have returned to do business.
I had a great experience here. Jocelyn, Taylor, and Jeff were amazingly helpful. I bought all of the stones I used for my backyard pond at American Stone. It was super easy to pick out the rocks I wanted, weigh them, pay for them, and be on my way. If you have a project that requires a relatively small amount of stones American Stone can help.
My wife and myself came to American stone looking for stone for a decorative walkway. We had no thoughts of what stone to use. Jeff was great to work with and with his knowledge of stones ,we walked out with the stone best for our walkway. Jeff thanks for your help.
The customer service is fantastic! So helpful and pleasant. Had several loads of rocks delivered. They always showed up on the date scheduled. I will use them for all my rock landscaping projects.
Really excellent customer service! We visited twice and in both cases, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and genuinely tried to ensure we got what we needed. It was also a very efficient experience with not a lot of waiting. Overall, we loved it.
There were four young men present when I requested for seven buckets of small river rock.Thet refused to load the buckets for a 73 year old disabled veteran unless they were paid to just fill the buckets.I think that is very poor bussiness.
Great customer service and a super reasonable price! I needed a small amount of stone for some landscaping edging, and they were able to help me explore the various options of stone that would work for my project. Their stone is very beautiful and stone that you actually like is worth a thousand times more than just any old stone. When my stone was priced out, it was significantly less than I would have spent elsewhere on something I didn't even like. I will definitely be shopping here in the future for my stone needs!
I went in to look at options for a sidewalk boarder. All the choices were amazing. I ended up adding a flower bed, and can't wait to start more projects! The friendly service and expert advise went above and beyond anything I could imagine. Knowledgeable and helpful employees, excellent selection, and price, made my experience great! I'll be back for more projects and I'm recommending them to all my friends.
