I recently dined at this lovely restaurant and it was an incredible experience. The ambiance was beautiful, with cozy yet elegant décor that made the evening feel special. I ordered the three cheese tortellini with blackened chicken, a bit overcooked but it was absolutely delicious! The dish was packed with rich, savory flavors, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. I took advantage of the early bird special, and for just $14, I got a huge serving that left me fully satisfied. The meal also came with fresh, warm bread served with flavorful oil, which was the perfect complement to the pasta. Overall, I had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed every bite. I will definitely be back to explore more of their menu!
Amerigo in Flowood, Mississippi, is a fantastic dining experience that blends Italian tradition with unexpected delights! While known for its delicious Italian cuisine, I highly recommend trying their Tuscan Ribeye. It's perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with a rich, flavorful crust that pairs beautifully with the restaurant’s signature sides. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it great for a date night or family dinner. The staff is friendly, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond. Whether you’re craving classic Italian dishes or something a little different, Amerigo is a must-visit!

Very good dining experience and awesome service. My wife had the Three cheese Tortellini and I had the Chicken scampi. Thanks to the cook for making my meal look and taste great. Also, my Server Austin was super attentive and never let my glass get empty. Definitely will be back!
The best steak in the area. Try the gorgonzola filet with spinach. Jeremy the barkeep is the best. Very professional and he knows every drink recipe known by man. He makes an effort to remember names and faces.Food: 5/5
Fantastic. A bit pricey, but honestly it’s some of the best food in this area. The shrimp scampi is seasoned well, dessert portions are HUGE and the kids pizza was even delicious. Will definitely be coming here again.Recommended dishesTiramisu
This is my first time a Amerigo's and I absolutely enjoyed it! The place is nice and spacious, white tablecloth type dining. They started us off with focaccia bread, would be great dipped in your pasta sauce! We started off with artichoke dip, I like my artichokes chunky and not completely dissolved into the cheese, they had it just the way I like it. I ordered the veal marsala, although my dish was good, my friend ordered the chicken piccata. She doesn't eat seafood and it was topped with crab meat, I tried a piece and found myself trying to convince her to trade plates with me She wouldn't budge. I'm definitely ordering that next time! That is a half portion seafood pasta, looked and smelled delicious as well! I'm going to have to make another trip here soon. Our server was great, very attentive!
I enjoyed this location for both lunch and dinner. The crab cakes are decently sized and priced. Comes on a bed of spring mix w corn/bean salad mix. It’s a 2 in one for me. No need to order a side salad. I like the early bird menu for if you want to spend less and keep it simple. For dinner i had the chicken piccata. Dinner portion is large. I always ask them to add garlic. I mostly only taste the the lemon. Love the fresh made look of the noodles. My servers have been Taylor and Debbie. Both checked on the table frequently. Before for lunch I tried my coworkers shrimp and grits. It had a lot of flavor. My godson had the tortellini that comes w spinach and crab. I prefer it over the seafood pasta.
Love this Place! My husband and I first visit I had the 3 cheese Tortellini and my husband had Chicken Scampi, both were magnificent. Our server Austin was very attentive and professional. The ambiance was great along with soft music had us loving Amerigo before we were even seated. Quality food, quality service! We will be back.
I'm excited to have the opportunity to share exactly how AMAZING my dining experience was here. From the moment we entered the front doors, we were greeted as if we were family as happily escorted to our table. Our server who was equally charming and efficient took our drink order and brought a dish of herbs and oil with crusty bread for dipping. Yum! For the appetizer, we chose the artichoke cheese dip with toasted slices of baguette . The best I've eaten including my own. Main course was Shrimp Primavera, Caesar , and washed it all down with a Gin cocktail. Everything was impeccable, but the Alfredo sauce was the star of the evening! It was, hands down, the finest pasta and sauce I've had the pleasure of eating. Let me say, the sauce could stand alone and be a meal in itself! Thank you Amerigo's in Flowood for making our outing a memory that'll last a lifetime!
