Cute pizza restaurant with great service. There is plenty of parking as well. I had the Red Sangria $12 and it was decent. Nothing really stood out. We also ordered some garlic knots and the Juliet Pizza. The knots were seasoned perfectly and baked thoroughly. My mother ordered the ravioli and I thought it was a bit dry. The sauce could have been a bit more liquidity. I definitely would come back here and try a different pizza. I think this is where they excel.
Almost 5 stars. The food is absolutely amazing. Their pizza has a great crust and was perfectly cooked. Sandwich was very well prepared too, fresh with excellent truffle fries. Outside of that the only complaint I have was slightly slow service. We waited a while to be able to order more drinks and get the check. But beyond that, we throughly enjoyed the food and will be back
This was our first time at Amore and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. There was a slight miscommunication and issue in the beginning because we needed separate checks we were a party or 16, but our server AJ went above and beyond for us. We had multiple people with shellfish/seafood allergies and he made sure things were taken care of for us. He was very attentive and didn’t skip a beat! Super polite and we felt very taken care of and grateful for his hard work. Thank you AJ for dealing with us and for being so wonderful. Sincerely a grateful group!
We were a larger group 16ppl, and family style pasta was good, pizza was yummy too. They did a good job with our group, even had some GF pizza prepared for one of our guests. The sangria was really good... lots of fruit.
I paid $25 for a tiny salad with 4 peices of shrimp in it! The salad was not fresh at all. I threw it out. The fries were so soggy, they were not edible. Soaked in grease and soggy. The delivery guy left the food sideways so the sauce dripped out. I just can't believe I paid 25$ for this horrendous salad.
Great place to bring the boys to. Many of the usual dishes that are crowd pleasers. The lasagne balls and bread went down fast. The spicy shrimp spaghetti was delicious but wish there were more than five smallish shrimp. Orecchiette needed a little more red pepper but was solid .
The lasagna balls are amazing, especially the sauce. We got the Bronx pizza and New York pizza. Both were filling and delicious.
Loved the pizza and the grille plate. Service and wine were also great, then what more can you ask for?
Must be a lot of people in Connecticut who don’t know good pizza to receive a 4.4. Over cheesed, Just globbed on and burned. Definitely not eating here again unless it is the last resort.
Best pizza in stamford!! Coming up from NY I was surprised that it was hard to find a artisanal pie, until I found Amore! The quality of Ingredients is second to none, the creativity and consistency keep me coming back again and again. Don’t miss the Starry Hope or the Bronx House. My wife adores the chopped salad, the dressing is home made and outstanding! Easy parking, very friendly staff. After a few years of doing take out from here we stopped in for brunch, it was amazing!! The bacon egg and ricotta cheese on a wedge was incredible, paired with shoe string fries and a Bloody Mary, my day was complete! Can’t wait to get some time and go over for happy hour, the deals look too good to pass up!
