Amy's martial arts is awesome! It has helped boost my sons confidence, agility, and has taught him the importance of safety! The teachers are great and the staff is very friendly.

It was my Six year old daughter first day today (07/20/16); she was crying and extremely timid. The instructor noticed and instantly jumped into action, which made my daughter feel calm and welcomed. I really like how much patience the instructors have with their students.
By the end of the class my daughter didn't want to leave because she was having so much fun. I definitely look forward to continue taking my daughter to her classes. It was a great first day experience and highly recommend Amys Martial Arts!

Amys Martial Arts has been so great for my daughter. She has been there for almost 3 years and has improved in her physical and emotional abilities and strength. There are phenomenal instructors with great knowledge, ability to teach, morals and values that they instill. The environment is clean, plenty of space, beautiful gym. The students and instructors are all wonderful and helpful. All of the students are very respectful and very eager to learn. No one has an "ego", and everyone is helpful to each other.

Amy's Taekwondo is the best school for marshal arts in Utah. My son loves the classes, parties, Summer Fest, and Summer Camp activities they have. He's been going for almost 3 years now and has made a lot of friends. We love the tumbling and sparring classes and the sparring gear is awesome. The instructors are great and care about every student, they really go out of their way to help every kid to gain self confidence and amazing skills while the classes are fun and well organized. This is a black belt school and the instructors have been training for years to earn their black belts and the skills necessary to teach taekwondo and to help students be successful.

My children have been at Amys for 2 years now. A year ago I was watching the students doing black belt testing and it looked like an difficult and exciting challenge! So I joined too! The teachers are fabulous and have a lot of very high quality training and competition and judging experience.
I absolutely love going every day and they work me hard! I am 40 years old and never thought I would be doing what I am doing now. I am more flexible than I have ever been and have significantly improved my balance and strength. I love the challenge and there is always something more I can work on and push myself on. They cover poomsae, weapons, sparring, tricking, tumbling, competing, etc. If a student wants to focus on just certain aspects of it all, they can. There are so many areas to train in that a person can find what they love and drives them and they have the instructors to help them succeed. My problem is I want to learn it all and there isn't enough time in life! :D
They focus not just on the martial art or sport of it but also on helping each person improve personally. It's about being a good and honest person who has balance in life. It's about relationships and also learning to confront fears and insecurities. They help students learn to apply many healthy principles in all areas of their life.
Yes, it does cost money, but what doesn't? A person can decide how much they want to do and if they want to invest more time and money or not. Some come once a week and some come most every day. Some want to compete and some just want to improve their fitness. I have been learning and improving every time I go. I definitely recommend Amys Martial Arts!
