Working with Dion is like working with a neurosurgeon who’s at the best of their game! His understanding of dog psychology is second to none. He has taken my two-year-old male pitbull with tremendous dog aggression and turned him into this obedient, clear minded, confident canine with total focus on his owner regardless of distraction! What I thought could never be done has been accomplished in spades! Any question Dion is in the elite of dog trainers. I highly recommend him!

Dion is the greatest! I have an almost 1 year old German Shepherd, and I am half way through our program. She originally got trained by someone else through a different company, and nothing changed. So I was at a loss of what to do - I truly thought my dog was untrainable and she will never be nonreactive towards other dogs/people. I reached out to Ancillary K9, they responded right away and I was able to get my consultation book that same week! My dog who has been very pushy and dominant is finally starting to understand boundaries. It's as if rather than just training a dog, Dion is teaching me to build an improved & safe relationship with my dog. She was terrified of her E-Collar before and would always get very aggressive with just me touching her neck - now she lets me put it on and take it off, no problem. She would also turn around and snap at me when I corrected her behavior, and she has not done that for months!! that would be an everyday occurrence for me. I was scared to correct her or even walk her because she had bit me hard and left me bleeding. I now have the confidence I need, and it is all thanks to Dion. I am so excited to continue on this journey with my dog and seeing all the improvements she had made. He makes trainings fun, detailed and makes an effort to answer any additional questions you may have. He ensures the trainings are safe for everyone involved and does not shrug things off. I have realized it is so important to do your research and find a knowledgeable trainer. After wasted time and money, I have finally found the trainer I need. When I contacted Ancillary K9, I was out of my wits and frustrated with Babs, my four month old puppy. I am a first time dog owner, and quite honestly, I did not know what I was doing. They gave us potty training advice while scheduling the consultation! Our training sessions are helpful, and we receive guidance on how to handle our puppy, especially in her different stages of life. Now, Babs walks next to us, can sit patiently, and is well behaved at daycare and with the groomers. Training is still a work in progress, but with Ancillary K9’s support, we know we will be fine.

Dion helped my mom with training for her two King Charles Spaniels. I went with her for every session and was impressed by their training method and techniques. It's truly a process of mastering each step to progress to the next one and they all come together as a whole in the end. Dion was great about providing analogies with humor to help us understand as well. I reached out several months later about my puppy who is starting to show aggressive behavior and Dion was more than willing to take time to provide advice and tons of resources to help us. So thankful for Dion and Ancillary K9. My dog Rami became aggressive and what seemed like untrainable after Covid. Being alienated from the outside world took a toll on all of us- especially him. We picked Ancillary K9 after reading the great reviews. I went from sheer terror walking Rami to trusting him on a long leash at a park with surrounding dogs. Dion helped us a great deal with our very reactive dog, Spencer. My husband and I turned to Ancillary K9 after a close call between Spencer and our young son, and Dion really helped us turn things around. We now feel so much more comfortable with Spencer being around other children and he's much more responsive to us and calmer overall. We found Dion to be a great communicator who was clear in his approach and very no-nonsense. We had to change a lot about our lifestyle with Spencer, but it was so worth it and we're in a much better place now -- worth the investment, if you're willing to do the work! As we learned, it's all too often not the dog, but the humans who need the training.

Working with Dion over the last couple of months has been a game changer for our dog Apollo and I. This is a program where you get what you put into it. Dion will teach you everything you need to have a well trained dog, but it is up to you to work with your dog on the other days of the week to see the results you want. The training sessions are uniquely geared to training you the handler, not just the dog, and they make sure to tailor the lessons to fit you and your dogs needs. The scheduling is also very flexible to fit what works best for you. Overall it has been a great experience and I can’t recommend this training enough.

Dion is a great dog trainer. He is straightforward and easy to understand. He gives familiar analogies to every training scenario. He's honest and open for any questions that you may have about your dog's behavior; combating that issue with actual solutions that are affective.

Dion with Ancillary K9 was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend him if you are looking for a personal trainer for you and your dog. My Border Collie, Sammy, did great in the 8 week training sessions. However, the training is only as good as the amount of time you are willing to put in outside of the training sessions. It requires training with your dog each and every day no matter the weather if you are training outside. I put in countless hours with Sammy and it was amazing to watch his growth. Hire Dion and you will have a much better dog and family member!!
