Just a part of Jacksonville's history and who it was named after, people need to stop getting all upset over some metal.

Andrew Jackson...supervised the mutilation of 800 or so Creek Indian corpses--the bodies of men, women and children that he and his men massacred--cutting off their noses to count and preserve a record of the dead, slicing long strips of flesh from their bodies to tan and turn into bridle reins (Stannard 1992, 121).

Duval need to remove this statue, people want to feel comfortable walking downtown. .

Jackson was a disgrace to American history and killed many Indiana. The Indian removal act was genocide. This statue is disrespectful and represents hat and mass murder
