Beautiful place to get a bite to eat! Always busy but they can usually ‘squeeze’ a small party in Great authentic Italian food which I appreciate being Italian myself! Lovely thin crust pizzas with fresh ingredients The wine per bottle is also very reasonably priced The best part was the warm friendly service You are made to feel as though you ‘belong’ which is beautiful A special shout out to our lovely waitress from Albania!!!! She was warm, friendly and helpful!!! Apologies I forgot your name!
The fellas wanted pizza so Angelo's we found. It was busy which is good, means to expect good food. We had to wait a first but the gentleman fast tracked us to a table upstairs. Did us a solid, appreciated it. Staff upstairs was just how you wanted it to be. Attentive but not overbearing. Menu wasn't extensive which shows me they on what they serve. Got a large with peppers and sausage. I'm not a big pizza eater but I can't deny the toppings, sauce was crazy good and it's coal oven baked. Recipe for delicious! They even boxed the food for me. Top it off with a homemade cheesecake If you thinking about Pizza but like it's NY pizza is everywhere, go to Angelo's!
Family friendly place. Lots of kids. Pizza was very good and fresh tasting. Salad was ok but nothing special. No free refills on seltzer, which is weird.Food: 4/5
Love this place. Pizza NEVER disappoints. Always tasty and hot. Mista ensalada and mista Romana are both delicious. Our fave is mista ensalada. Plain cheese pizza and salad are my go to here. This and a nice glass of organic shiraz. My husband had spaghetti with a marinara and he enjoyed it. We also enjoy their mixed greens and beets salad. Always fresh and tasty. As is everything. Servers are nice. One of the hostess’ could be friendlier. Although place was empty on our last visit she seemed annoyed that we wanted a table for four vs table for two. We ordered 3 salads, an entree and pizza….yea we needed the larger table ma’am. Customer service is a dying art…but I still give this place 5 stars and will continue to do dates here.
Delicious pizza! The sauce, the crust, and the amount of crisp is just fantastic. Fast service and friendly staff. Lots of inside and outside seating. Can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend Angelo’s Pizza for all occasions.
Have visited for a lunch during the New Year Holidays. Fast and good service regardless plenty of people. The food seemed to be common. Have tried a pizza, Italian soup and gnocchi. Don’t expect delicious food. Good place for a fast meal during the discovering NYC.Food: 3/5
I was blown away by this pizza. I got half pep, half Margherita old fashioned round 17” and it was fantastic. It fed both me and my wife. The crust was perfect, not dry or cardboardy or hard like other places. The sauce tasted incredibly fresh. The pepperoni added a nice smoked meaty flavor. The cherry on top was the fantastic service! Best NY style pizza I’ve had in the city.
Went here for a family gathering and it was a great place to get together. The place has a relaxing and cozy decor. We ended up ordering a variety of appetizers and entrees. The appetizer that really stood out was the fried zucchini and eggplant. It was thinly sliced and the garlic yogurt made it a great combo together. I ordered the rigatoni alla vodka and I highly recommend you do the same. It was bursting with flavors. We also ordered an old school round pie, which is the margarita pizza. The crust was a classic thin pizza and it was delicious. Overall it was a great experience and the staff was very friendly.
It’s not my first time here, and what makes me always come back is their tasty dishes. Almost every thing I ordered in each visit was good. Some of the dishes I like here and I recommend are : the margarita pizza, grilled calamari, shrimp scampi, fettuccini Alfredo.
We were greeted by a very nice hostess who quickly found us a table and sat us. At the time we were seated, the restaurant wasnt busy, but quickly filled up. Our server was very attentive at first, but was quickly lost when larger tables came in. We ordered a half cheese pizza and half other ingredients. When the pizza arrived, half was incorrect. Therefore, we asked them to take away the incorrect half and make us a smaller pizza to correct the mistake. However, when the bill came, we were charged for the original mistake. The manager argued that they made us another pizza... Yes, but the other pizza was to correct their mistake. We didn't argue and left. While the food was descent, and we didn't have a complaint once they made what we requested, I suggest looking for another place to eat.
