Best kept secret in Kansas City. the programming is fantastic and if you're looking for a nice walk in the woods and the kids playground this is it.

Great place to teach children and Adults conservation.

Took a small group of kids there on a field trip and had a great time! Very interactive and educational for the kids while still being fun. Staff was really helpful and flexible!

The conservation area is a fantastic place to learn about local plants or if you are just looking for a peaceful and quiet place if you want to get your 'nature fix' even when living in the city. There is also a community garden and a big pond that is perfect for jogging around.

An oasis in the city! Great MO Dept Cons Urban Campus for field trips, Saturdays with the family or lovely walks anytime. This a a wonderful location to be a volunteer if you are interested in Nature. I have been a volunteer since shortly after they opened. It is a very fulfilling volunteer opportunity.

Come on down eating beaver and learning to make maple syrup.
