This place is one of the many gems of Ann Arbor with one acception: it's a place JUST for our young adventurers! It has many rooms that meet the likes and tastes of ALL children! Personally, my daughter is a 4 year old who loves everything water and she LOVED the water tables in the downstairs atrium, and in the upstairs playroom. There's lots of building supplies for little hands, in every section. In every room they have plenty of items to stir up your children's imagination! My daughter also very much enjoys music and they have music on the stairs, and a whole music area upstairs. All of these activities have an excellently disguised theme of SCIENCE! They make science super fun for our young children.

My husband, daughter and I are here visiting from out of town. We decided that this would be a nice little outing for my daughter and her cousin and it was. My daughter and niece really enjoyed the water station. My only complaint was the RIDICULOUS PRICE FOR ADULTS! There is absolutely nothing there for us to enjoy. We are there supervising or children. Why on earth are we being charged 12.50??!! We had 4 adults who were parents and 2 children. We paid $60+. We definitely won't be back until my child is at least in 3rd grade where she can enjoy the larger section of the museum.

This was our first visit and it definitely won't be our last. Our 3 yr old and our 1 yr old both loved all the things they have to do. Their toddler area was amazing and really gets the kids thinking all while having a blast. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place for children. No cafeteria here though. Very many things to learn here. Store has many great choices for the development of experiments and further interest and education.

Lots of fun for kids. We love this place. It's a great place for kids to explore and play. As an engineer I especially love the ball run in the preschool area. Some tips though: 1. The worse the weather the bigger the crowds. If its rainy or snowy it tends to get crowded quickly. 2. Go during nap time. It tends to calm down during the 12:00-1:00 hour, giving your little one the most freedom to play. 3. Keep an eye on your kid. This is a happening place, with lots of kids running around and lots of fun play to be had. It's not a place to drop your kid off and hop on your phone for an hour. I'm there with my family to have fun, not watch your child terrorize other kids. 4. You can bring in outside food if you eat it in the back cafeteria area. They don't really advertise this, but its a good way to grab a quick snack. 5. Parking can be challenging. Be prepared for a bit of a walk by parking at either the Ann street deck ($3) or one of the surface lots. Just be prepared to walk 1 or two blocks. They have lots of fun programs and activities throughout the day that are good for older (3-6) kids. Overall its a fun place to play and explore. We'll definitely be going back many times in the future.
