I was expecting a good filling brunch here. Good thing was their coffee was good Cafe Mocha The ambience is supposed to be funky, eclectic but it was just unhygienic and unkempt. I really wish they focus a little more on the cleanliness of the kitchen, tables, restroom and floor. There was no air duct so we were freezing as it was a cold morning. The food was below average and would never go back again.
My Snickerdoodle Latte was absolutely delicious. It took me back to memories of cookies. The egg sandwich was delicious and the eggs were steamed which I loved, the perfect consistency. We also split a tasty strawberry waffle with both maple and strawberry syrup. It was wonderful that the kitchen plated it on two plates. The service was warm and welcoming. The restaurant is in an old house which made the dining experience nostalgic.
This is my all time favorite little spot for breakfast!! I order the same thing every time and it takes amazing every time! The spicy chai is yum but their croissant special is what knocks it out of the park EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The croissant is . Packed in between of his goodness is fluffy scrambled eggs, cheese and I always add on bacon and avocado! The size alone of this deliciousness will have you nice and full, the atmosphere at Ana Bananas is so welcoming and when I am there, I feel seen! The art they have all around is from the hands of local artists and is up for sale. You won’t be disappointed with your experience here!

Megan helped me out today. Great good and prices and a great place to sit and wait while my car was being fixed at les Schwab. The space is also pretty big. They sell local art here which is always good to see!
Anna Bannanas has the best cold brew we've experienced. Both over ice and steamed, it's very well done.
Not sure how I feel about this little hole in the wall. I got a strawberry smoothie that didn't taste like strawberry. The south of the border scramble was pretty good. The decor is odd in deed. Wasn't pleased that the I can only assume from the way he ran the place he was the owner didn't wear a mask but insisted that I wear mine. Also, you're not allowed to eat inside without proof of the mystery injection. Seriously doubt that I'll ever return. Rated 4 Smalley's out of 10.
I think about Anna Bannana's like getting invited to breakfast at a friend's house. It is a pleasure to go and I always look forward to the food and company. Their menu is somehow both large and small at the same time. The ingredient are high-quality and the food is prepared in a small kitchen. They have a back room for added seating and the walls are decorated with art from local artists. The people who work here are lovely and I look forward to seeing them. The outdoor porch and patio are very nice for sitting on NW 21st Ave and reading, eating, or thinking. The coffee is excellent and many people come here just for that. They also have a large and current selection of newspapers for reading. This place is a fixture in the neighborhood and city. It should be regularly enjoyed as such.
Outstanding. Super chill vibe, great music, comfortable atmosphere, food clearly made with love by someone who loves to cook. Coffees have weird flavours but also made sooooo darn well. Wasn't sure at first, but turned out to be our favorite place. Would stop in daily if we could. Absolutely the best hands down. Vegetarian options: Pastries available
Stopped in for a quick coffee before a doctor's appointment. We had a peppermint mocha and a cup of Earl Gray hot. Both were excellent. We enjoyed the beverage and relaxing before facing the health care system. Parking: Parking is always challenging in this area. We were lucky in that we could park in the clinic's parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: This would also be challenging as all I remember are stairs up to the door.
