Another Broken Egg Cafe

I loved this restaurant. We went for a birthday brunch celebration and we were thrilled with the service. Rada our waiter did an excellent job, she was friendly, helpful, and took care of every detail to make our celebration very special and memorable. The food was delicious. Te lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes were so good. The only bad side is that they don’t take reservations, so waiting for more t 1 hr 1/2, was too much, but our birthday girl wanted to try this place and we are not from that town. Luckily our experience was amazing.

The prices were reasonable and they have a lot of unique options we've never seen before. Their rum cake french toast is super good, the French toast had lemon and it was a nice surprise! Personally if get the sauce on the side because it's on the sweeter side but that's just me. The Chilaquiles we're really really good as well and I would for sure get them again. The staff were all very nice, it got busy but we were able to sit at the bar without waiting.

Very nice restaurant. They were extremely busy and two of our 11 meals came out basically after the other 9 were finished eating. Most of the meals were prepared exactly as we ordered. The waitress was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the restaurants menu.

The food and service were great at this location for me. The seasonal menu never disappoints at this place! However, the atmosphere is much more shall we say targeted at the clientele in that area compared to another location I've been too. While it was still very nice and professional, it didn't seem to have the same excitement that had me visit again.

I usually have no problems at this chain but this was alittle different. I came in to get a To go order because I got a ride from a co worker. The place was not busy so I figured it wasn't be to long. After 30 minutes and seeing all the doordash drivers coming and going I was alittle disappointed. Maybe I should have just did doordash? After asking a few times about the meal they finally brought it out. I rushed back to his work to find most of the meals were cold. I wasn't happy to get cold food after waiting so long and not many customers. Could I recommend this location? Maybe Did I enjoy the staff interaction? yes. The cooking staff not so much.

Oh. My. God. The food here is so good!!! We got the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes, the hash brown benedict, an omelet, City Grits, and a half order of beignets which is 4. It was all just delicious. I liked the savory kick of the goat cheese on pancakes so much that I made my own version at home, complete with lemon-zested whipped cream on top. We were visiting from out of state, so I was super excited when I discovered that there are two locations of this restaurant chain in my area, as well! I can't wait to go again! Parking at this location isn't super plentiful, so be prepared to circle around at busy times, or to park a block or two away. The staff were very friendly. We came at a pretty busy time, so we opted to sit in the bar area so we would've have to wait. There is outside seating, but it was a hot day AND they have those horrible, uncomfortable chairs that are everywhere right nowif you saw them you'd know exactly what I'm talking about!...so we voted to stay inside.

It was another Saturday morning trying to figure what to do for breakfast. We decided to try another BHAM.com recommended restaurant called the Another Broken Egg Cafe located in Mountain Brook. This time parking wasn't as bad and found a spot close to the restaurant. Upon entering the hostess tells us it is a hour and a half wait for a table. We weren't going to wait that long but noticed a empty table top in the bar. We were told that it is first come first serve for the bar area. We quickly sat at the table top and there is only two of them in the bar. The bar is not very big and was packed because someone took two chairs from the other table top and moved them to the bar. The couple sitting at the other table top said they had to go to the bar to place their order and get drinks. It was about then a waiter stopped and took our order which was a Belgium waffle with extra crispy bacon and a supreme omelette. We received our drinks shortly after placing our order. After waiting patiently for about 40 minutes I asked about when we could expect our food to arrive and the waiter said he would check on it. When he returned he said that the manager needed to speak to us and she showed up to explain that our order was lost and this is not typical of the service they provide. We were offered a chicken waffle as compensation for while we waited for what we ordered to arrive. We declined the offer but I now regret that decision and should have accepted it as I had seen so many go by our table and looked really good. It wasn't long after speaking with the manager that we had our food. It was worth the wait and recommend sitting in the bar area and avoid the long wait times for a table.

Fantastic breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe. This was my first visit to this cafe after hearing a lot about it. We were immediately seated and the service was excellent. The menu is great with endless optional customizations. My Power omelette was delicious! I’ll be back to try the pancakes.

All time favourite place for breakfast… veggie omelette was best .. fresh and delicious… waffles was too good Hot chocolate was not so hot .. might be because of cream .. but overall good experience .. Ambiance is nice.. !!

As much as people were talking this place up I expected a much different experience. There were bugs in the dining room which is understandable in the location with the weather but the number was concerning. The food was good, but not as amazing as I expected it could have been what I ordered and my expectations the drinks were good, but again, for some reason I expected more. I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, just not up to the hype I'd heard about it.
