Really bad food. Why is there green and red pepper in the crab imperial? It tasted like warm macaroni salad. The broccoli salad was warm, and there was more cartilage in the cream of crab than meat. My husband's ''macaroni and cheese" was made with penne- who does that?! Even the soda tasted generic, like Sam's Choice. Everything about this place is gross except for the decor. It looks cute inside.
If was awful. The health department should check this place out. I had a salad and it was warm and nasty. Didn't you could mess up a salad. My husband had shrimp salad and it also was warm. Flies are everywhere. We will never ever go back. It truly was discussing.
Visited twice the same day. Ate lunch and was impressed with menu then returned for dinner. We had crabs and spaghetti. The prices were outstanding and the food was delicious. Will return in the very near future. Hoping it will be my new favorite spot.
I wish I could give them less than one star honestly. The service and food was terrible!! They advertise jumbo lump crab cakes, however they meat they used was not even crab it taste like fish. All of the food received in my party did not eat their food; except for the crabs they were tiny. The service was incredibly bad, they were extremely racist. The waitress used racial slurs toward us the “N”. I would not recommend and never go back.
I have been here numerous times and never had a good experience. Why does a bar close so early on a Friday night? Also I recently saw staff taking beer out of the trunk of a staff members car. Isn't it illegal to buy beer for an establishment from someplace other than a distributor in MD? One of my disappointments I marked was Slow Service. This is not because of a slow server. Its because the place has staffing issues. My waitress is actually very good and I always try to get her to serve me. I really have a hard time getting behind a business that does not know how to run a business.
Wasn't impressed. I had really high hope's they would have a good breakfast. I had the chipped beef and home fries. It had the consistency of water and wasnt much more than butter and beef. I asked if they always use this much butter and the waiter said "yes, there is a lot of butter in the chip beef" I couldn't eat it. I brought it home to see if my son would eat it he eats anything He wouldn't eat it because all the floating butter. On the flip side my buddy enjoyed his breakfast. He didn't have the chipped beef.
Very disappointing. My family loved Gianni's so we were excited when Anthony's opened. We've been twice so far and haven't been happy at all. The imperial crab, while tasty, was full of crab shells and was thin and runny. The pretzel bites can't remember the name are obviously store bought and just not good at all. The shrimp & grits were just nasty. The kitchen didn't even try. No seasoning at all. Barely cooked bacon and way over cooked shrimp. Oh, and bacon grease ? poured around the perimeter of the bowl. The shrimp Fra Diavolo was another huge miss. I guess they could say the pasta was al dente, but I'd call it way undercooked. The sauce was just okay. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the crab cake was amazing.
This is one of the very few restaurants in this area that knows how to cook pasta; my dish was cooked al dente. The chicken parm is crisp, tender, and evenly cooked throughout. I don’t think I had a bad bite during my visit. Highly recommended.
Just had breakfast, very disappointed. Rotton fruit was served. All the waitress said was "sorry", she did not offer to fix it. If I could i would have not even have given it one star. Yes it was that bad. Chic filet has better food, editable fruit and cheaper prices. At least at Chic Filet you get "my pleasure". Not " sorry about your luck".
Terrible experience. Upon arrival, we stood in front of the hostess booth for several minutes until an owner decided to get off his seat and ever so kindly *point* us to a table across the room where we could sit without saying a word. While walking to our table, we saw a man complaining about his meal to a another owner, and the owner getting aggressive and in the customer’s face. When he walked away from the table and past our group, he was cursing about the customer and calling him an “a**hole.” There was only one server on duty but three owners just standing around, and yet our table was still ignored for 20 minutes. Finally, an owner gave us menus, but did not ask for our drink orders or at least offer us glasses of water. We had to ask the bartender for a glass of water so a family member could take her pills. After waiting several more minutes to be waited on, we decided that eating at a restaurant that ignores and insults their customers was definitely not worth the trouble, and left. We will not be returning.
