Have been a long time customer of Antone's. and was disappointed in my oyster poorboy it was definitely poor in oysters they where the size of quarters.and only 5 of them not very impressive. I guess that's why they put so many fries and 2 half cooked hush puppies. 17.50 later .
just too far away from the original style and quality i remember before ot franchised ... chow chow still awesome though
Po' Boy - turkey and swiss cheese on the slow rising bread was delicious; added lettuce & tomato. Tabouli was the best I ever ate. Creamy and not dry. Antone's new sandwich is pamento cheese on toasted rye. Very good too. Not crowded and price reasonable. Right off 610 & San Felipe. Will be back!
