Apna Punjab : Vegetarian +Non Vegetarian both options available. Parking: in the street. Spacious, clean Lunch buffet at $15 per person. When I visited the place for lunch buffet they had some chicken and goat curries and Chole bhature, daal, veg kurma in veggie and ice cream . I also ordered veg thali for two it was for $32 with two curries, soup, naan, rice pudding. Water is chargeable.
I’m always happy with my food. I wish they gave some complimentary chutneys, but each restaurant has their own model. Delicious and reliable. Happy to have such a good Indian option in the neighborhood.
Ive never had the chance to fully indulge in indian cuisine, this place offers a $20 lunch buffet tues-sunday. theres curry goat, curry chicken, tandoori chicken, fresh naan….the naan omg . drinks included, only 4 stars because there was limited vegetable options. the dal makhni is NUTS, def a hidden gem
My very first time with my Family and it was completely Empty. It was right after Lunch cause Lunch is from 1130 to 430pm. We got seated at 428pm. Only one worker who barely even smiled and another one who just sat behind the counter in the front. The Food was Good Tasteful. The portion size was descent.. The Bottle of Soda 2 litter, we Got CHARGED $4.95 I had never got charged $5 at a restaurant for a 2litter Soda. So we Got Ripped Off.. The Taxes was also $4.95. Our Bill was suppose to be $60 and it Came out to Be $70 and Got the Nerved to Try 2 Over change Us #SMH. I will Not Be Returning Back and DONT EVEN RECCOMMEND OUR FRIENDS/FAMILY FOR THIS SPOT. We were handed the bill and the guy got the nerves to Stand by The Table Rushing Us To Pay it wasn't even the same guy who took Our Order.. The guy made us Feel like we wasnt going to pay our bill.. Really inappropriate!! They Never Offer Us Container to pack Our Food. U have to ask for Container!! The plastic cups they gave us-U can see finger prints on it and It wasn't even Regular drinking cups. We wasn't even Offer Any ICES for Our Soda neither. Will NOT BE RETURNING BACK AT ALL... MY EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE!! they Need Better CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. They also need to learn how to clean off the table as well when they see dishing stacking up..
Ordered the chicken kati roll last weekend, was soo yummy I came back less than a week later to eat it again. Good flavor, good portion, good price. Will be coming back soon!
Absolutely love this place, I found them during Covid and decided to order takeout and since then this has been my favorite indian spot in the area! The garlic naan is I definitely recommend
What and excellent experience in flavors and foods. Raita, Naan, peshwari naan, chicken korma, and chicken tikka masala was ordered. A heap of rice was brought with the entrees and shared with the table. I also had an Indian tea. Spiced tea with cardamon, cloves, and cinnamon. A bit of cream or maybe coconut milk too. What a heavenly meal. The blends of spices and flavors. The subtleness of some were still able to be tasted without wing overpowered by others or the “heat” of other spices. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend you keep a takeout menu and mark your meals so you can remember what you had and order different things each visit. I even brought a second cup of Indian tea home. Disappointed it was in a plastic 1/4# container rather than a takeaway cup with lid so I could drink it on my way home. The dining area is large with several banquet spaces. Men’s Restroom lights flicker like that of a Saw movie, but are clean. The house lights flicker often too, which is quite distracting, but overall, a wonderful experience. I think their dimmer switch is overloaded to be honest. Not all light fixtures are designed to be connected to a dimmer. The fifth star will be earned if they get takeaway cups for beverages and fix their lighting. Otherwise, really is 5 worthy.
It is the ONLY true authentic Punjabi cuisine I've found! I've had several different dishes from here and each one was 10/10 delicious. Never dined in, but take-out experience is great.
First time going here. I decided to try the Sunday lunch buffet. Arrived pretty late, 45 min before the buffet ended. There was plenty of hot food on the plates. Servers were actively bringing new food as needed. The atmosphere is of a family diner. The dishes didn't have name tags in front of them, but staff was kind to explain what each option was. Every dish tasted good, with varying levels of hotness. However, the chicken Tikka masala, garlic naan, white basmati rice, and coconut chutney were absolutely delicious! I've been to many Indian food restaurants that don't develop the flavors quite as well as they do at Apna Punjab. Kudos to the chef and cooks. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options available. Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of kids in the restaurant. No worries.
We went for buffet. Dried rice atleast it is cooked couple of days ago, no salt, no spicy. Not varieties. Most of the items they put were cooked couple of days before.
