Apollo Café
"Welcome to the Apollo Cafe, your destination for experiencing authentic Greek recipes handed down through generations. Enjoy traditional Greek favorites like Pastitsio, Avgolemono soup or vegetarian Spanakorizo. Order a fast chicken Souvlaki sandwich or a rotisserie Gyro sandwich to eat in or carry out.Located on Historic Brady Street in an area once heavily populated by Greeks and Italians, the Apollo Cafe is in familiar surroundings. The cafe’s atmosphere evokes the richness of mythical Greece through a dynamic interpretation of the classical god, Apollo. During spring and summer, dine outdoors in the Passegio in Greek, the “Pezothromio” area reminiscent of downtown Athens."

Good, fresh Greek food, friendly service. Highly recommend. Hummus was delicious, creamy, just right. Had a gyro and the meat was just the right amount of crisp on the edges.
WOW!!!! A small corner restaurant with plenty of parking in the back. The food is all fresh and cooked to order. The Dolmaths is awesome along with the Spanakopita. Great café atmosphere. So many great things to say about this little gem. Don't forget to leave room for a Greek coffee and Baklava.
My son and I came in Town for his bike race and he wanted to eat Mediterranean food, which Apollo Cafe is an excellent place for. I found it on Google Map and ordered the Mediterranean Salad and Tuna Souvalaki for dinner and Baklava and Rizogala rice pudding. They are all very fresh and mouth watering. I called them in advance for carryout and when I got there the food was ready. The staff were super friendly and pleasant. The price is very reasonable. This restaurant is located in a vibrant urban area on Brady Street. There are a few other nice restaurants nearby also. The interior of the restaurant is clean and features some Apollo themed painting and decorations which is great. Would love to dine in when there is an opportunity. Will definitely come again!!!
Honestly I don’t have a whole lot of positive or negative things to say about this restaurant. Ordering and receiving food is a bit odd. The food was not some of my favorite Greek food I’ve ever had but it was decent. Reasonably priced. And it was in a great neighborhood. I suggest eating on the photo faux patio to people watch.
Solid authentic Greek food, and a really varied menu! They have stuff which most Greek restaurants don't have. Affordable and filling food. Their chicken souvlaki is really delicious. The service is great and the guys are really friendly. Small cosy cafe easy to miss, but worth a visit, will be back whenever I'm in Milwaukee.
Great local fast-casual type of place. The decor and lovely patio make it feel more upscale. We got a glass of Greek wine and a full meal for $20/person. Service was friendly and quick, and the food was delicious. Generous portions. If you're on a Panera or Chipotle budget, go here instead to get a superior meal for a similar price.
Exceptional service and great food. The gyros were great and if we are ever in the neighborhood we will definitely be returning. The pricing was exceptional for milwaukee also. "Yummy in my tummy"
This is our favorite greek restaurant in the area. The hummus is amazing and the stuffed grape leaves are worth the trip! The owners are so kind and passionate!
I have been going to Apollo Cafe for a while now. I always get the Athen Chicken. It has great flavor and very juicy. My favorite is the flaming cheese. I get a kick out of saying its name but can't remember how to spell it..lol. Go to Apollo Cafe, you won't be disappointed.Food: 5/5
This place never disappoints. My mom and I are obsessed. I lived 4 blocks from it, moved, and still drive from the suburbs to enjoy their food. The owner and father are always so sweet. I’ve never walked into the establishment feeling unwelcome. The owner always has a smile on his face and is so friendly. Their gyros are no joke - always delicious, my mom and I love their Mediterranean salad the feta cheese chunks, omg and lamb shank. Will always be a staple for us when we want Greek!
