The first time I walked into the door of Apositiva, I was blown away by Cat and Rich’s warmth and sweetness. They are very knowledgeable and informative in the fields, and they genuinely care about you. I have learned and grown dramatically with them, and I am ultimately grateful I found Apositiva. They want you to succeed and they will do whatever they can to get you there. This is a place with creativity, inspiration, compassion, wisdom, love, and so much more! Rich and Cat are among the most experienced coaches in the Portland area. Apositiva Institute offers an alternative education experience, and may be a resource for resolving personal life issues. I enjoy that they have two different natural therapy spaces; one space is light and airy, while the other is more womb-like. Also the hobbit-like doorway and entry waterfall make for a wonderful transitional experience from the every day into a relaxing place for peace of mind.
I recently received my certifications in clinical hypnotherapy and as an NLP practitioner from Apositiva Institute in Portland, Ore. What a great experience! The courses were terrific and the training I received was superior. Hypnotherapy and NLP are very powerful skills and can make positive and dramatic changes in people's lives. Cat Wilson and Rich Aanrich are not only expert teachers and coaches, but also warm, energetic, supportive, creative, inspiring and fun. I received training from Apositiva in Hypnotherapy and NLP years ago, and have since attended a couple workshops that Cat facilitated. I trust Cat and Rich to always provide a space of safety and exploration, to teach me meaningful skills in fun, unexpected ways. In my last day long workshop with Cat On mindmapping, a way of visually mapping out ideas and brainstorms, I decided to focus on one particular thing I'd wanted to do for years. Cat was affirming, supportive, gave me lots of space, and helped me open up to new levels of creativity and inspiration.
