Arabella (also known as “Arabela” or “ارابيلا”) is the historic name for the Jordanian city of Irbid. Founded in 5000 B.C. and located along the crossroads of Northern and Southern Arabia, the city of Arabella served as a renowned trade center and vital stop for caravans traveling to and from modern-day Russia, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt and Israel. In present day Irbid, one can taste the influences of this cultural exchange in local cuisine and Arabella Mediterranean Cuisine is pleased to share the best of these flavors with our customers here in Houston, Texas.
