Mike and his team are incredible. I wanted to redesign my front yard, but didn't know where to begin. Mike came out and did a detailed design the first day I met him. I'm not an expert on landscaping, but Mike is, and he took the time to explain everything so I could learn as well. When it came time to pick the plants and trees, Mike explained the benefits of each and why they would look nice in the design. He also explained how to properly take care of them which I really appreciate. When it came time to do the work, Mike and his team are precise and efficient. They had a plan and they knew how to make it happen. By far the nicest and hardest working team I have ever had at my house.

Mike made a daunting task of replacing a large portion of our landscaping low stress and seamless. For someone with little knowledge on gardening and landscaping, his expertise and guidance was invaluable to us. Mike married our budget, style, and desired upkeep level to recommend a beautiful landscape design. He had many recommendations beyond our original scope that ended up making all the difference in the finished product. His team onsite was professional and efficient, even in the summer heat. We will definitely be repeat customers if we have future landscape needs!

My yard was a mud pit and it was a daily stressor to the point where I did not even want to check on my propane tank in order to avoid going to the backyard. When Mike came to give me my estimate, he knew exactly what to do. He is truly an artist and a visionary and now my yard is a dream come true. He and his team took great care to grade my yard so that all the water flows away from it. This is especially important since my house is up against the marsh. He and his team are professional, knowledgeable and personable. My backyard which I hated so much is now my perfect oasis where I can go to escape and reflect. I would recommend him to anyone...even my own sister..and he will be doing her yard in the coming weeks!

Mike and his team scraped, topdressed and reseeded our horrible weed infested backyard in spring 2021.Mike also guided us through selection and design of ornamental plants around a firepit and walkway previously installed. He spent a lot of time helping us choose our plants. Although he warned us spring wasn't the best time to reseed, his advice to he patient and feed and water well paid off. A year later our yard looks great.

Simply the best. Mike is an incredible plant and tree guy who we have now used twice to help with our landscaping challenges. The first time was when we moved into the area and after interviewing a number of others picked Mike to do a complete makeover of our outside needs including a fire pit, blue stoned a patio, and added a walkway. I believe he planted 70+ plants and trees and it came out beautifully. And second time was when we were faced with changes to the property around us and Mike and his incredible crew came in and added 5 major very mature trees. If in the future there is a need for further landscaping we would not hesitate to pick Arata Landscaping again, Simply the best!

We finished a project with Mike Arata a few months ago fixing major drainage issues and reseeding a large part of our back yard after a home construction project. He is to the point and gives it to you straight. I really appreciate that. Their work is great and fixed all our issues…and our grass came up so fast and even now, in January, is so green and looks better than all our other grass! Haha! We are so pleased. I would definitely use them again. And when a question came up more recently, I called Mike and he immediately called me back to answer my questions completely. 5-stars all around.

Mike and his wonderful team not only did some brand-new landscaping in the front of the yard, but cleaned up old beds and added foundation plantings that exactly match what I was looking for. Mike is great to work with, easy to communicate with, and his team is friendly and diligent.

Mike and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They are very professional. We had a stone patio put in our backyard, a stone walkway and resurfaced stone steps in our front. He also did landscaping in the front and backyard. They went above and beyond on everything. Mike took the time to go over everything to make sure we got what we wanted. I even got to go to the nursery to pick out the plants. He explained which ones would be best in our sunny and shaded areas. We've got so many compliments. We are very happy.

We've been an Arata Landscaping customer since September of 2015. It all started with a front yard overhaul, which gave it a much needed charming curb appeal. Later we added a beautiful lengthy flower/plant bed along the east fence line. Since then, they've come by once a year to maintain trim, mulch & edge the beds. This year we decided to replace our tired, rundown 18 year old backyard patio. Mike met with us to understand & discuss our needs, provide his input & review the options; we even visited a job site for perspective. Mike fit us in during his busy season and was able to accommodate our schedule. Mike & his team did a professional job. They were prompt, efficient & courteous.
