A hybrid of bar and pizza shop, husband and wife team Dimitri and Gerelyn Blackstone-Karapanos opened Archie’s Bar and Pizza in 2014. Archie’s combines Dimitri’s background working in his familys’ Connecticut pizza shop with Gerelyn’s decade-long experience managing in pubs and bars in England and New York.
Greek-New England style pizza is how most people label this unique style pizza, rarely found in New York City. It has a medium thick crust, cooked in a pan, stacked with toppings and sliced into squares.
In 2018 Archie’s GM Diego Macias became a co-owner, bringing with him a multitude of skills, experience and a most importantly a passion for the bar and pizza industry.
