Sharon was absolutely wonderful! She helped me get my certification done quickly! She also responded to my emails so quickly and generously knowing she has a lot of other people to take care of! Best service I’ve received from the pharmacy board!
I submitted my application 35 days ago and until now I haven't heard anything yet. When I call to inquire about status of my application, I get directed to Alyssha Vargas who never answers. I also never got a response to the many emails I sent. This is tragic... I keep telling my employer, my application is pending when their pharmacy desperately needs help... This delay is impacting the community, patients and myself. This processing time is totally unacceptable and unprofessional and has to change
Took my PTCE exam, called and asked a few questions after I found out I passed. The lady seemed to be helpful but when I asked if I can submit paperwork in person she said their office is still closed. I don’t understand?! I’m Being sarcastic, if other places are open to the public why are these government offices closed? You guys are not only hurting people like myself or Pharmacists, but your hurting yourselves too! We rely on important documentation our license so that we can work in the field stat. Office is open now but you are very limited to what you can do in person. If you are requesting to become a certified Pharmacy Tech, the paperwork is available online and you must submit an electronic payment of 82.00. If you do everything via Mail, you still submit the same 82.00 and all the paperwork they require that is on the website along with the completion of the application. Once you acquire your License, the opportunities are there. Mail order, working from home, retail pharmacies…. I highly recommend you get a Postal money order in 2022, it’s going to take you a few months to have your application processed for your certification or trainee license, so be prepared to wait for everything to go through. Everything in life has a process…..
I submitted all documentation and done everything required for a pharmacist license. It has now been over 3 weeks and no email has been sent from them and I sent two emails unanswered. Called multiple times, it goes straight to voicemail. I left messages in the voicemail with call back number and no response. Now job opportunities are being held up because my application is still in progress. Hard to believe anyone even works here. If so, what are they doing all day?!
I was very skeptical to apply for my license here because of all the bad reviews but did so anyways. The application process was easy. I was very confused because it gave no information on how long it would take my license to be processed so I gave them a call expecting to wait 45-an hour based on reviews and was placed on the phone with a real person within 5 minutes. The lady was very nice and helpful. She informed me that they are very backed up and it would take 4-6 weeks to process and had told me about an error in my application and gave me instructions on how to fix it. Very helpful!
This may be the DMV of state Boards of Pharmacy, except DMV’s usually eventually accomplish something. I have never encountered a more feckless and hapless organization in my professional career. I have been promised return phone calls and return emails from Kam and Alyssa at this organization for 3 months, and they continue to ignore inquiries. Their lack of accountability is beyond staggering.
Nancy the intern license coordinator is so helpful. I needed a document to be sent to another board and she went out of her way to help me. The entire staff is very helpful. I have dealt with other state boards and by far the Arizona board is the most competent and helpful. Keep it up!!!
Do they sit around daydreaming our what?? No one ever answers the phone , It goes to a voicemail telling you to go to the website. I applied at the end of Nov. 2015 and March is week away and still NO license. I have been a technician for several years certified and licensed in a different state. If I knew the process was so long and ridiculous I would have just stayed in the state I was from. IL took less than 2 weeks to obtain my license. I completed the finger prints, sent all information needed and paid all fees and NOTHING but pending status. I don't see what is taking so long at this rate I have lost job opportunities and I'm very dissatisfied!
I hope anyone that works in the pharmacy industry is very careful during their employment. Since this agency does not listen to anything, and I mean anything about what you say. Every business like this deserves a talking too. Very selfish and rude, so look out. Everyone on the board should be fired. All they listen too are heavy lies by their incompetent lawyers and not even take into consideration the claimants side.
It takes such a long time for them to issue licenses. I already have my technician trainee license so I thought that once I sent in my scores for passing the ptce that I would get my Cpht license after just a few days. After all, they already have all of my previous info finger print card, copy of my license, etc. But it's been 11 days and still nothing.
