Terrible place to have to do time at. The Medical Department is completely inept but even if someone gets seriously sick, hurt or have any other complaints, it takes Arizona State Prison FOREVER to help with any issues related to Inmate Medical Care/Well Being BUT if you get lucky REAL LUCKY - the prison might send you to a hospital for testing but an inmate must either be near death or in great agony for quite some time before they would ever consider doing so. It does help if you're fortunate enough to have family members call the prison & demand names, departments & honest answers as to why a loved inmate is not receiving the proper care prisons are required to offer ALL prisoners in need of Medicine treatment. I KNOW ALL OF THIS INFORMATION BECAUSE MY NEPHEW HAS BEEN THERE OVER 4 YEAR'S & HIS MEDICAL ISSUE IS STILL ONGOING EVEN THOUGH HE HAS BEEN SENT TO A HOSPITAL 2 OR 3 TIMES & HIS ISSUE HAS OUR ENTIRE FAMILY WORRIED THAT HE MAY HAVE OR WIL DEVELOP CANCER OF THE TESTICLE OR SOME OTHER RELATED CANCER. PRAY THAT NONE OF YOUR LOVED ONES EVER GET SENT THERE.
