Dr Jara was thorough and asked great questions. I was being fitted for new hearing aids to replace my 5 year old pair that broke. I was nervous starting with a new doctor since we had recently moved. Dr Jara took 2 hours to test my hearing and to make sure I was comfortable with my new pair that I literally got that day. I have no hesitation working with him in the future. AND I HAVE TO MENTION his competent and friendly administrative assistant Miranda!
Dr. David Jara and Miranda Townsend are always pleasant, thorough, knowledgeable and efficient. Dr. Jara provides new tips to make my hearing aids work even better. I always feel better after my visits. Definitely 5 stars.
I'm new to the area found this office on a website I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this office the receptionist is awesome and the doctor was awsome as well didnt feel rushed through the visit he was very patient answered every question I had also did everything within his power to lower my cost as I currently have no insurance had to travel from MD to VA but it was well worth it thanks again for being an awesome provider
I was not allowed in office until 9. Then all you heard about is insurance before they took you back. I thought this was supposed to be free. Why did I need insurance? Not only did they asked for my insurance before I could be seen but also called me 3 days before for the same insurance.
I have been a patient of Dr. Romano's for 7-8 years and I'm still using my second pair of hearing aids. I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Romano. Her skills, as an audiologist, are truly superb. I've never received any type of treatment other than the best. My hearing aids work consistently and if there is any question, Dr. Romano always provides adequate care. And, as for Dr. Romano, herself, she's attentive, hard working, and, always upbeat. I can't say enough good about her and I wouldn't think of changing to any other doctor. Mary Scanlon As for the staff, always pleasant and willing to provide assistance.
I recently changed from a DC audiologist I had used for six years because of a serious denigration in the level of service I had been receiving. Based on reviews, I found Dr. Romano and the Arlington Hearing Center where reviewers consistently said they had received exceptional care. I am a believer. Dr. Romano and her staff are professional, kind and very accommodating. I am especially pleased with the followup attentiveness and care Dr. Romano has shown for my adjustment to a new type of hearing aid. I would not hesitate to recommend this office and Dr. Romano to anyone needing audiological services.
I'm grateful for the three years I've been going to Arlington Hearing Center for help with hearing aids. Dr. Romano is an excellent audiologist, personable, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. She has done a fine job of lining me up with appropriate hearing aids and several of my friends have similarly expressed appreciation for their experience with both Dr. Romano and her staff. Her office is punctual, well managed, and staffed by convivial and efficient professionals.
Dr. Romano is a warm, friendly professional who fitted me with my most recent set of hearing aids. She personally performs the hearing tests, evaluates them, demonstrates various brands of aids, and conducts the follow-up and fitting. She's also a great teacher, which is important since modern hearing aids are high-tech and require some coaching to appreciate their advanced features. The support staff is equally bright and friendly. I couldn't recommend Sonus Arlington more.
My hearing loss is moderate, but the constant need to adjust TV volumes and to ask my spouse and others to repeat things just disappeared when Dr. Romano fitted me with hearing aids two years ago. I still miss words of some songs and some accents, but the ease of use and the quality of today's hearing aids are amazing. Dr. Romano has been both very professional in her work and friendly and helpful, from my initial appointments through subsequent follow-ups. She has excellent support staff too. I recommend her highly.
I have worn hearing aids for about 20 years. I found Dr. Sandra Romano after I relocated to this area. Best. Audiologist. Ever. She wears the same hearing aids that I recently purchased so she knows, personally and professionally, the answers to all my questions. That has been so valuable to me because she truly understands. I am a cyclist and she even put a sports lock on my hearing aids so I feel more secure that I'm not going to dislodge them when adjusting my helmet and sunglasses. And, Dr. Romano and her staff are so gracious and accommodating. I am grateful for the excellent care.
