Armed Forces Retirement Home

My father is 88yrs old and in "independent living" he now pays $3054 a month from $1450 with only a couple hundred a month left over. No money left for his car insurance or minimal traveling. The residents are being punished for the gross mismanagement of their budget over the years by the AFRC. These men waited years to get in and are now paying the same as the "general public". These men served their country and deserve a break and are not the "general public". "Retired General Stephen Rippe is the new executive officer for the AFRC calling the shots and making a name for himself"! Shame on him!! New information as of this month April 2018 and new rates as of Oct 2018. If you are a vet contact your VA or congressmen. Search the internet for info on this change.

It is inspiring to talk to these veterans. I encourage everyone to come here to appreciate the military service of our forefathers.
