I had great experience visiting Dr Berlin's office recently. The front desk team was very swift, professional and punctual. I didn't wait for more than 5-7min for Dr Berlin. He came and treated me with utmost care, friendliness, professionalism and overall amazing medical support/diagnosis. Everything went smoothly. The doctor's assistant gave me a phone call in a few days for blood work result etc. Overall excellent place & treatment.
Tuesday, November 3, 2015 I had an appointment with Dr. Berlin where I told him I'd been experiencing extreme pain in my upper right abdominal area after eating. I would get fits where I'd vomit all my food and then continue feverishly vomiting bile when there was nothing left in my stomach. I had been like this for a few months already and had lost 20+lbs. I was even experiencing pain in my back specifically around my right shoulder. As I continued to share my symptoms Dr. Berlin grabbed my face and moved it into the light commenting that I was a bit yellow. After running exactly ZERO tests Dr. Berlin concluded that I had gastritis and prescribed me a bottle of pills and said, "Come back in two weeks if the symptoms continue". That Thursday, November 5th at around 1am I went to the ER because the pain was so overwhelming. After sharing my symptoms the doctors believed I was experiencing a gallbladder attack. After running some tests, they confirmed that I had several stones and my gallbladder would have to be extracted. My mother called Dr. Berlin while I was in surgery to inform him of the situation and he dismissively told her that my symptoms did not indicate that I had gallbladder issues.
I had to find a better Dr....Berlin is not a good listener and him and all the other Dr.'s in his office are only good for pushing unnecessary meds, i had to find a better Dr. Dr. Ken Troung because they try to give me a pen shot when im not type 2 diabetes, that drug has been known to create pancreatic cancer, anyway that was my experience in that place and i only stayed long with them cause they are open on Sunday's and for me that was convenient. for the most part the staff are very nice but the Dr.'s are Horrible, They are more for the Pharmaceutics.... the Dr.Ken Troung i now see only prescribe what you need and tells u exactly what you need to do and works out a plan with you calmly and explains it clear enough to understand. good luck with Dr. Berlin you will need it.
This office is ran like a circus. The front desk people have no idea of anything going on around them and are always playing on their phone. The igene is horrible, and you can hear doctors and nurses fighting on the curredors. Dr. Berlin made me wait for one hour before seeing me, and then he did not send the prescription to the right farmacy. Save yourself some time, find another place.
I like that he is makes you feel comfortable. He listens, gives advice and only prescribes medication when necessary.
