She listens to what I ask for and explains everything that she is going to do. She is excellent at the dry cutting technique, which follows the natural rhythm of the hair. I have been working with Shameem for over 20 years and have followed her to wherever she goes. I am so happy with my haircut and highlights, traveling two hours to see her. It is so worth it! I may not get my hair done as often but I find with her new technique of dry cutting, I can go longer between haircuts and it still looks great. I was skeptical at first with dry cutting but now I will never go back- my hair is now so healthy, full and manageable. She spends quality time with you and going there feels like a spa experience. I came across this studios online and booked an appointment based on the rave reviews. I've struggled to find a decent hair salon for years and have resorted to only cutting my hair once every year or two. Let me start with saying WOW. I've never had a dry cut before. With typical cuts I'd ask for a certain length and style, they'd cut wet and of course not take into account that my hair is a curly and when dry it would shrink up another inch or two and would be way shorter than I wanted. I've never booked my next hair appointment on my way out of the salon!! I had such a great experience. My hair dresser Shameen was absolutely fabulous. A joy to sit and chat with and she cut my hair perfect. I can't wait to see her in 3 months The owner Arous and her sister were so fun to chat with as well. They made me feel like an old friend. I went in there after having a so so day and left feeling so good! The over all vibe of the salon is exactly what I needed after a long day.
